No, it isn't. I have one that was totally justified, and others which are rather pathetic.
Same here.

Damn, I butted heads with Sexton a few times way back when the first Cap movie was filming but we got along well enough since then. I liked him.
He could be aggressive but oftentimes the people he got into it with are just as aggressive and some of them are even worse. He didn't suffer any fools, for sure.
So long, Rock.
Same here. I find it funny that posters mention he's a MCU defender when he was very negative of Captain America in those those threads before it was released. I haven't spent nearly as much time on those boards since The Avengers days (I left because Alexei Belyakov was an annoying prick and haven't really gone back even as he got banned), but he was okay of the times I went back into those threads.
On another note, I'm still glad Alexei Belyakov was banned.
Yeah I remember that he was really negative towards Captain America. Annoyingly so.
Thing is, Rock had issues with the movies and wasn't afraid to mention them, he just didn't repeat those same complaints multiple times a day for months on end like many of those he clashed with do. People endlessly droning on about nitpicks and pointless fretting over tiny details were probably a factor in 90% of the arguments he was in.
Let us all look back, and rejoice.
If tedious negativity could get you banned, the BvS boards would be a bloodbath.![]()

Sounds like paradise.
I hope the people who 100% know that Fantastic Four is going to be awful don't pretend they didn't say what they said if the movie is revealed to be yet another quality genre film from Fox.

The first error is even going into the character specific boards. I only go in there right after release to geekasm or complain. And that only lasts for maybe a week.
I'm actually impressed with that stamina of posters who can rant about disliking something over and over for weeks or even months on here.
You would think after stating your dislike of something you would move on but they don't even get bored posting the same stuff over and over again.
I just don't get why people can't wait for a trailer before writing the film off? What's the harm in that? If the film looks bad I'm going to say it looks bad but not before I see set photos and a trailer. Right now I'm not writing it off because the cast is talented and the director is an interesting up and comer with a good movie under his belt. Sorry but I am not going to write off a movie with that much talent before I see a trailer. The ****-talking has been so extreme, there's really no way for any of them to try to sweep all that under the rug.
