I guess we'll never hear what "insider information" he had.

I honestly didn't think Rock was bad enough to get banned. He was here for 6 years and from the comments in this thread, he wasn't horribly disliked. I can see someone getting banned when they're newer and just trolling or when they're an older member and go off the rails and insult people/start fights/just be *****ey, but for someone who is around for years and is generally okay, it just seems like overkill. There is no denying he was a true fan and I think his opinions and ideas were a good part of any discussion. Sure he got mad and took potshots sometimes, but the majority of people here go through the same thing.

Damn that infraction count.

To me unrelenting optimism is as bad as unrelenting negativity. I hate when I see DC or Marvel fans not admitting flaws or denying that something that Marvel or DC did was not perfect.

On another note: I wonder what Alexei and the other hated banned members are up to. Im actually curious how Nell is doing. I was cool with him but knowing his personality I can see him taking it really hard

Honestly any poster that says theyre an insider or that their a screenplay writer who regularly deals with Hollywood I immediately roll my eyes and shrug them off

Im a big DC fan when it comes to the characters. Prefer DC over Marvel in general. But I personally think that every movie decision theyve made other than the casting of Henry Cavill has been terrible. But that's for another thread.

But thats why i dont go in the Batman/Superman thread or the DC Comics Films section. I dont get why waste my time

I hope the people who 100% know that Fantastic Four is going to be awful don't pretend they didn't say what they said if the movie is revealed to be yet another quality genre film from Fox.

The ****-talking has been so extreme, there's really no way for any of them to try to sweep all that under the rug.

Oh, but they will. I am old and jaded enough to remember the years and years over which we were repeatedly told by condescending fanboys that anything other than an all-black rubber Batsuit would never be seen in a live action movie. Where are they now? Gone or forgotten. Apparently, no-one ever thought that. It's like how, in the political field, nobody ever considered Nelson Mandela to be a terrorist. Never happened.

The credentials shared by the community on this site are amazing. Talking about a movie? Wham! There's a screen writer to chip in. Talking about a martial art? Ka-pow! There's a 10th Dan to set you straight. Talking about Gal Gadot? Boom! There is her bra to tell you how unfulfilled he feels in his work.

That's my mentality actually. Why would I go in the section to ruin someone else good time or positive feelings?

That being said I dont think someone just stating their opinion isnt whining or being a hater and I think a lot of people, not you, think it is.

I forget what it was, I think it was the Agents of SHIELD show thread on here or on some other site, I said I respectfully said that I didnt like the show after the 3rd or 4th episode. And someone went off saying I was a Marvel hater and that I was out to get the show etcetera etcetera. And that was only my 3rd post about the show over the course of weeks. It wasnt like I was in the thread everyday b****ing.

If the trailer drops for BvS and I say Im not a fan of the trailer in the BvS forum people would say Im a whiner or a hater. I dont get it. Why would my negative feelings in one post f*** up your whole day?

I actually prefer speculative threads nowadays. You know threads about the movie before they come out. The Captain Marvel thread is pretty good.

No joke that was who I was referring to. I remember I post my idea for an Aquaman film trilogy and then he sent me a PM saying how he's working closely with some people at WB and that the trilogy idea I had is not too far off from what they're working on and that it's a couple months away from happening.

He wasn't banned, he literally just no longer frequents these boards. He came back under a second account, for some reason, and said he's no longer coming back and he hasn't been back since November.

@Blackman, I agree that just stating your negative opinion isn't trolling or whinning. I have wrongly called people trolls who weren't because of my frustrations with whiners and trolls in the BvS threads but I am trying to get better at not doing that. I want people to call me out when they think I'm out of line. I know I'm in the wrong at times.

You don't miss hearing how fabulous he is…working and rubbing elbows with his heroes and all the other bigwigs out in…Hollywood…didn't see it the first time…how about every other word in his posts when he had to remind everyone he was in Hollywood…Hollywood…HOLLYWOOD…

…a bit much…he always rubbed me the wrong way…and maybe a bit jealous as I've been trying getting back into the business…
