Have any of you made your own barbque sauce? also what type of smoked flavor do you prefer? do any of you have tips on how to get the meat tender and moist to the point where it simply slips off the bone?
 
Boil it for about an hour before you put it on the grill. Then grill it slowly for about 2 hours. Did you watch that History of BBQ special yesterday?
 
heh didn'tcatch. i have watched this BBQ show thats alwayscomes on saturday afternoons, i think it got cancelled. do you have any suggestions for smoked flavors?
 
I love hickory and brown sugar. I don't generally smoke my meat. Damn. :csad:

Jack Daniels has some really good wood chips.
 
I friend of mine always used hickory. I can't speak for the BBQ, but the hamburgers were awesome.
