I could do without sleep. It's 2:43 AM where I am, so I'm already on my way to ditching that basic human need.
I can't willingly eliminate anything.
*I can't not breathe.
*Food is too damn tasty to give up.
*My pee must look normal or I freak out so I gotta keep water.
*Regardless if I run on 3 hours of sleep these days, I need those 3 hours. Or I'll start to kill.
*Toxins need to exit, can't tell my body to stop.
*I've become accustomed to jeans and air conditioning, ain't gonna give them up.
*If more people got laid (in the consensual way), the world would be a lot less bat****. Wars and crankyness would be at a minimum, etc. It's a tremendous stress reliever. Sex isn't evil. gtfo, nutjobs. Have some sex for the good of mankind. (and wrap it up)
^I think you missed the part where this is hypothetical. You wouldn't have to hold your breath, your physiology would change so that you no longer need to do it.
Now, certain enjoyment can be derived from all of these physiological needs but I HATE having to do them to live. I often wonder how nice it would be if I could eliminate one of these needs...
Oblivious to the Cap'n I see - a shame.First post has been edited for those who are oblivious to the obvious.
lmao is this a real thread?
oh well in that case i would give up eating in an instant. i snack here and there but i wouldnt miss it. maybe just walk around with a iv drip full of nutrients like Rihanna.

if I no longer needed to breath.... could I live under water?^I think you missed the part where this is hypothetical. You wouldn't have to hold your breath, your physiology would change so that you no longer need to do it.
Just about all the seven deadly sins are based on a psychological or physical need that eventually becomes destructive once it is enjoyed.
Basic sex drive becomes lust.
The need for nutrition becomes gluttony.
The need for rest become sloth.
The need for survival becomes greed.
The need for self-esteem becomes pride and envy.
The need for security becomes wrath.
Why do needs start becoming spiritually and physically destructive once we start to enjoy fulfilling them??? Seems like one big cosmic joke.

That's what I was thinking. Like if we could get rid of sleep would that mean we wouldn't get tired anymore, or if we didn't need food would we no longer get hungry?
I'd imagine that if we didn't have to sleep in order to survive that we'd also be eating during the time we normally would sleep. Expenses and body weight would definitely need to adjust and with that... comes more time in the bathroom![]()
Why not just stop being a vegetarian then?
I'd want to live without this also.Excretion
