I've had lots of stray cats come by my porch, and I've gotten 2 fixed, kept 2, adopting out 1, and trying to tame 1. I found a 2 month cat on my porch tonight. She is one of the most affectionate, adorable cats ever. She's the first to not only let me approach, but he's been all over me for attention and even let me pick her up.
I have to really really really really REALLY beg:
Her tail's messed. I mean, MESSED. UP. It looks like part of it's been severed, and the rest is a solid mass of scabs. She's also had a bunch of pus leaking out, and according to the doctor, her tail has to go. Not including the costs for the basic office visit and Rabies...
it's about $800 for the amputation, plus some addition costs for some tests and related shots.
If some of you are willing, PLEASE contribute to help this little cat out. They said that with testing and all, they probably couldn't do it until tomorrow at the earliest anyway, but I like to think fate brought her to my doorstep with a super-friendly personality to get her fixed.
I've got pictures of the cat and her tail, and a paypal button at www.awasteoffilm.com PLEASE contribute to help me save this little cats life. To the paranoid, my website is ad driven and DOES NOT sell any merchandise whatsoever.
If you don't want to go to the website, you can paypal to [email protected]
If anyone knows a Vet that will offer reduced or free services in the Charlotte, NC area for stray/abandoned/feral cats, I would appreciate it.
Fake Edit:
A little good news:
1) I've racked up about $150 in donations so far
2) They're knocking about $160 off the bill to help me out, so it's still about $800 after getting rabies, basic vet visit, ets, but it's better. So, with the donations I need to scrape together about $650. It's a start.
