I don't think that Batgirl (presumably, Barbara Gordon, not Alfred's niece) would be easy to interpret in the "Burtonverse Batman" (where Michael Keaton's Batman is essentially, an lone wolf) much less a Robin. I could however, envision, Winona Ryder playing her if hypothetically, there was a Batgirl in that particular universe.

Winona Ryder would have always been too old looking for the role. She would have been a Burtonite actor, but not for Batgirl.

In the Burton world, his Batgirl would have made her own costume and done stuff cheaply.

Or he could have used Christina Ricci, who would have been, what, 13 or 14? A young teenage girl hanging around an eccentric millionaire who spends his nights in a rubber suit would definitely be weird enough for Burton.

Oh, I dunno 'bout the cheap thing necessarily. If we get Gordon as her father, then Hingle's Gordon seemed to give the impression of a guy who did well enough for himself. Heck, if they played up her computer skills, she wouldn't even have to be that cheap - just give Dad's credit cards a test drive. :woot:

I would have probably chosen Ryder for Ivy and ricci for batgirl

It depends on what year and film a Batgirl character would have been introduced. IF it was after Returns and IF Burton stayed on the franchise Ryder would have been young enough to pull off a Batgirl.

Winona Ryder once played a 13 year old girl in "Great Balls of Fire" (about Jerry Lee Lewis) even though she must of been, at least 5 years older at the time. So, I wouldn't be so concerned about her being "too old looking" for the role.

Nah, shes be better as Harley Quinn

It would've been really interesting to see Tim Burton do Robin and Batgirl.

As to who would've played Batgirl, I think Winona Ryder would've been a great choice.

I prefer Christina Ricci, but i wouldnt mind Ryder, but i dunno, i wouls just rather see her as Burtons ivy
