The Dark Knight Rises Batman 3 to the i(MAX)!!!

Agreed. All the IMAX sequences look fantastic and I love that they fill up the entire screen.

Me too. I rewatch the IMAX scenes a lot. TDKR will have more IMAX scenes so that means more full-screen scenes. Yay!

there is no 'real' imax theater in germany :( .. also a few fake ones in netherlands..

the only real thing is the Omniversum in Den Haag but its an IMAX Dome with the curved screen.
has anyone seen dark knight or something else, on one of these dome screens ?
(i would imagine that the image looks weird) !?!

I have. The first movie I saw there was Spiderman 3 from a centered position (about where the projector is). My neck hurt from the fast paced side to side motion (and my head hurt from the 3rd act). Alas, when TDK came out, I made a point to be first in line and get a seat in the very back row sitting in the center. It was fantastic. My neck didn't hurt and I was completely immersed in the movie. I would suggest if you watch any Hollywood motion picture in a dome IMax, to sit as far back and centered as possible.

EDIT: Additionally I will admit that the image did seem ever so slightly distorted at the far edges of the dome/screen. But it was in no way a deal-breaker. I absolutely loved it.

Hey, just to confirm... I will be able to see the 6 minutes of TDKR at a LIEMAX theater right? I'm talking about the digital screen projections...

I'm sure, because officially, those are still IMAXes. Just crappy ones. ;)

Cool. I checked the Columbia MD theater and they haven't started selling tickets for MI:Ghost Protocol yet.

Why is the stupid movie called Ghost Protocol. Why not MI4?
