Batman and Harley Quinn - Based on Original Story by Bruce Timm

At least it's not Tara Strong. I like her work usually, but she can sound VERY shrill and obnoxious as Harley.

I'm still uncertain if this takes place in the DCAU or not. On one hand, the designs. On the other hand, Nightwing and Batman don't seem to be ANGSTING at each other.

Tara Strong is a great voice actress, one of the most prolific ones out there. But I don't think she's a good fit for Harley.

Was the sneak peek posted up yet? I mean the blu ray is out soon.

It's so tough to come in and voice one of the characters from B:TAS (witness the fan reaction to, oh, every single actor other than Conroy who has been brave enough to voice Batman in animation or gaming for the past quarter century). I wish Melissa Rauch the best, and hope she realizes what she's getting into.

But it would be strange to use DCAU designs and not be set in the DCAU, wouldn't it?
The New Batman Adventures designs, with a new haircut on Nightwing, almost seem to be announcing time and place- DCAU, shortly after TNBA.

I think to paraphrase Pfeiffer-Pfan, the implication may be there but I'd be very surprised if it's said outright that it is.

Jim Krieg is co-screenwriter. No director noted as of yet, but I can see Timm taking that job as he did some extensive storyboards.

The stuff between Nightwing and Harley will rub ALOT of people the wrong way. Prepare for some serious complaints once again.

Also, the animation seems... wonky. I don't know, it's weird. The only thing that seemed GREAT to me was the two old stalwarts: Conroy and Lester. This isn't quite the 25th anniversary celebration we were all hoping for.

I'm still looking forward to it, but man do I miss cel animation.

Man, the Bruce Timm bashing on the internet is out of control. He executively produced one movie people didn't like, and now he sucks. :cmad:

Like forget 20+ years of amazing animation work or being one of the best things that's ever happened to Batman.

b.t. will always be a legend to me. The hate he is getting lately is absurd... but I don't think this movie will help his case.

Great to hear Lester again but lord that animation looks so stiff.

Conroy sounds great. Much better than in the Killing Joke or Arkham Knight.

Not a fan of the Harley voice from what I heard. Tara Strong actually sounds better than this.

I actually loved that - laughed nearly all the way through! Anyway, thanks for posting

Is Diane Pershing still voicing Poison Ivy, or is it someone else?

Not liking what I'm hearing of the new voice actress.

They should try to maintain a Flashpoint Paradox level of animation. This and Killing Joke have a VERY noticeable stiff style. We've gotten some great animation in the DCUOAM series but this looks strange.

Still I'm excited for more stuff in the DCAU, which ignited my love for comics.

I really want a Knightfall animated movie. And No Man's Land! But set out of the regular continuity. I don't like that they're taking classic stories and setting them in their own continuity. I like stuff like TDKR or All Star Superman instead of The Judas Contract

This one looks like the first downer of the year. Oh well.

Wish Bruce Timm could go back to keeping that Gods & Monsters thing going,
but that's not happening.

I think it looks good, I just don't understand why the animation looks so stiff.

Yeah I don't know what's been happening to WB's animation department in the last few years. It's like they're not getting enough time and budget to make these anymore.

I feared the animation wouldn't be up to snuff after seeing those stills they released these past few days or so.
