Then again I noticed most of the hate is coming from Snyder/DCEU fans.

I was confident Batman/Harley wouldn't be made into a thing, but I did laugh that now they're flirting with a Nightwing/Harley thing, even if it doesn't actually go anywhere. It's just a little strange as I recall from BTAS/TNBA, Grayson never showed any interest in her.

Animation is about on par what I expect from WB nowadays. Reminds me of the old flash-animation web shorts they did around the TNBA days, if anyone is old enough to remember. Not terrible, but definitely a far cry from the work of yesteryear.

They still haven't found a suitable replacement for Harley yet, I think the only line delivery I liked was the very last part shown in this teaser vid. I don't get why Arleen can't just be rehired. No one watches these things for the celebrity voices.

It's as if everyone at the office are mad at Bruce Timm over Killing Joke, so they gave him one more project with even smaller scrapes of their yearly budget.

Timm is the one overseeing who actually wrote and directed The Killing Joke.
There's also the other factor of cutting that Gods & Monsters lineup short, as I mentioned earlier.
So, there's definitely something up to where he can't be trusted as of late.

Doesn't work that way. He produced it and it was his creative project, not Sam Liu's.

So yeah, I don't hate the guy, I'll always love his prior work, but his recent indulgences just don't work for me at all.

I was browsing through the DCEU reddit page out of boredom, and it's disconcerting to see people tearing down Timm and prepping up Snyder.

A year or two ago fans sung his praises and wanted him in charge of the DCEU.

Thats what happens. Fans are fickle. This is not something new.

I love Raimi Spiderman Trilogy(yes even the third one), and I love TDKT. B:TAS and JL:TAS were amazing. And I'm a huge fan of BvS and MOS.

This is not an us vs them thing. Maybe some people are just not fans of some of the recent creative choices.

And dont put too much stock on reddit. Opinions change there daily.

I mean creators that we love are probably going to make stuff we don't like sometimes, and if there's a sustained period of that, then you might not stay a fan of them. It happens.
