Nay, Selian Kyle/Catwoman is The prefect Woman for Bats/Bruce Wayne .

Okay, admit it: you don´t´even know what fascism means, do you?
Yes I do, but how is it that what Batman does would have any kind of political meaning for him? And Batman does have legal and moral limits, maybe you didn't get that from my last post. Well there you go. Happy now? Oh wait Batman isn't a fascist . . . guess you're not that happy.

it would suck for batman, hed be the woman in the relationship

i can picture someone breaking into there house at night, and batman staying in bed hiding under the sheets while wonder woman checks out the disturbance

of course i do, im making a joke of his lack of power, sure i know he could take the thugs, but wonder woman would definatly take them out before batman could blink...so maybe he should just stay in bed. lol it would be like living with Chyna or w/e that big wrestler chicks name was

Doesn´t look that way from here.

At this juncture I´d like you to pause for a second and give what you wrote a thought, it´s hillarious.

Legal as in putting minors in the battlefield, I take it?
Moral as in building a supersatelite to spy on his own allies, I imagine?

I am now.

Nah, I could see a fling happening but I think they'll most likely be loners.

I don't see them together. Even in the DCAU (aka Diniverse), Bruce ultimately ended up alone.

JLA #90 addressed their relationship -- even though they may have a wonderful romantic relationship, Bruce and Diana decided to remain friends.

IMO, I prefer Bruce with Talia.

but talia's morality is too ambiguous. i prefer selina.

And Selina is just too stubborn and idependant, IMO.

Diana and Bruce would be a good couple. They both come fromsimilar backgrounds, both a very tactical, and both have missions they believe in. Diana and Bruce understand each other, even if they dont agree with the methods the other uses

Since when a woman being independent became a bad thing?
As for stubborn, why is it regarded as a bad thing when you´re a woman and a good thing when you´re a man?
Prejudice is such a very ugly thing....

I really don´t see where this "similar background" comes from, Diana and Bruce do NOT have a similar background.
One was a princess in a matriarch society, the other was the son of a rich doctor.
Where are the similarities? Wealth?
Did the amazons even use money in their society?

Anyway, by your logic......

- Diana and Martian Manhunter would be a good couple. They both come from similar backgrounds (whatever that means), both are very tactical, and both have missions they believe in. Diana and Jonn understand each other, even if they dont agree with the methods the other uses

- Diana and Green Lantern would be a good couple. They both come from similar backgrounds (whatever that means), both are very tactical, and both have missions they believe in. Diana and Hal understand each other, even if they dont agree with the methods the other uses

- Diana and Aquaman would be a good couple. They both come from similar backgrounds (whatever that means), both are very tactical, and both have missions they believe in. Diana and Arthur understand each other, even if they dont agree with the methods the other uses

- Diana and Mr Terrific would be a good couple. They both come from similar backgrounds (whatever that means), both are very tactical, and both have missions they believe in. Diana and Michael understand each other.

- Diana and Black Adam would be a good couple. They both come from similar backgrounds (whatever that means), both are very tactical, and both have missions they believe in. Diana and Adam understand each other, even if they dont agree with the methods the other uses

(etc e tal)

yay...Zeu continues to miss the point....

I fail to see how Diana and Hal have anything in common, since Hal was raised as an average american who watched his father fly planes....that has nothing in common with being the daughter of royalty.

I fail to see how Diana and Michael have anything in common...seing as how mike dont believe in a god while diana believes in a ton of them, michael didnt come from wealth, and diana was contemplating suicide because he lost his wife and kid.

Do you think before you type? Were you just throwing names out? I bet you were.

Anyway, I fail to see how J'onn and Di have anything in common....J'onn lost his entire freaking planet, his wife and his kid, and was isolated for hundreds of years. Did that ever happen to Diana?

The only two that made sense on your crappy list were Black Adam and Aquaman.

Bruce and Diana have a similar background. Both came from wealth and a high class society (Diana's being the amazons, Bruce's was Gothams wealthy elite). Both had strong parents who taught them the ethics they live by today. Both grew up focused and determined individuals.

Next time you try to prove my point wrong, use examples that MAKE FREAKING SENSE.

Aquaman WAS attracted to Diana.

Dude, you are the one who should REALLY think before you post.

Since WHEN does being a princess from an amazon society even compares to having a rich daddy?

Do you honestly think you can compare the background of Paris Hilton to the background of Prince friggin´William?

Do you think Prince Hirohito and John John Kennedy were raised the exact same way?

Do you (and this is the funniest bit of it all) actually think the amazons prized wealth as a means to gain status in their society?

Hypolita was not the queen due to her WEALTH, all amazons were born alike, from the ocean waves.
She earned her position due to her WORTH.

THINK before you type.

You are so desperate to shoehorn them together that anything goes, I mean "both had strong parents."?

Guess what, HALF the goddam metahuman population in the DCU had strong people who taught them strong values.
What do you think Jonathan Kent was teaching his "son" all those nights at the farm?
What do you think Dinah Lance was teaching her daughter after a day´s worth of crimefighting?
Knitting?

"Both grew up as focused individuals?"
Gee, I bet Barry Allen wasn´t focused in his education, I mean, he must have become the greatest police scientist in town by sheer accident.

Gee, I don´t think Hal is that focused, I mean "anyone" can go into the USAF and be a pilot entrusted with the latest prototypes and state of the art toys in aeronautic engineering.

Gee, I don´t think Michael Holt is that focused, I mean he only got five dozen PhDs!
incidentally, how many PhDs does your Batman have?

Let me continue to apply your logic in shoehorning pretty much anyone in the DCU together with Diana:

Yes, Diana and Hal DO have a siomilar background. One is an amazon, the other was a former USAF pilot, ergo both are warriors.
See how easy this is?

Yes, Diana and Michael belong together since they are both religious, one believes in the christian god, the other in the greek gods, just imagine the debates the two would have.

Yes, J´onn and Diana belong together, both lost their civilizations and both are aliens to the patriarch world.

See how easy it all is?

Using your logic, ANYONE could be paired with Diana, it´s even better than the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon.

Yes, Diana and Dr. Fate belong together, both have similar backgrounds.
What similar backgrounds?
Oooh, one is a magical being, the other commands magic.

For my next post, I will attempt to pair Diana with G´nort using your "logic", it should prove quite interesting.

Bruce and Diana's backgrouns are nothing alike. Bruce was a rich kid who saw his parents murdered, went insane, learned how to fight and how to be a detective, and spent a good chunk of his fortune on bat themed crime fighting gear so he could go out at night and beat up muggers and rapists. Diana was sculpted from clay and given life and power by the gods, led a rather trauma free childhood, and as an adult became an ambasador for her country. There's nothing even remotely the same about their backgrounds.

The possibilities of romance between Bruce and Diana was already addressed in JLA #90.

Hey, if you want to think of it from a cosmetic point of view, then fine. Same with question.

thats like saying a janitor and a garbage man cant be anything alike in concept since its two different jobs. Both are considered lower tier jobs by society. But, by your definition, it cant possibly mean that, because one mops floors and one dumps garbage. so, they're nothing alike. Right.

If you fail to see that both Bruce and Diana come from places of power, then very well. If you fail to see that Diana and Bruce are sometimes so dedicated to their respective missions that they sometimes forget the people that care and love them, then thats fine too. All these lame comparisons arent really doing anything. Yes, Hal, Barry, and Michael are focused, but they also didnt lose sight of the fact that they have a life as well, something diana and bruce tend to forget.

By the way, Michael holt is an ATHIEST. See, you dont even know about the characters your typing about. But thats no suprise, since you claim that Batman is a fascist, when hes anything but.

That's pretty much the only similarity in their backstories. And even then, it's pretty different.

The Batman said:

1) That's about their personalities, not their backgrounds.

2) When has Diana ever been like that? She's often unsure of how, as a warrior, to carry out a mission of peace, but she's never forgotten the people who love her.

He was mocking you.

You accuse other people of being caught up in the details, but the truth is that YOU are OVERsimplifying. The way Diana was raised, the culture, the training, the religious aspects, etc. are very disimilar to Bruce. Saying that because they come from "families of power" is a gross generalization. Would you tell me that one person who is royalty is the same as one person who's wealthy? Would you say a rich kid in Japan is the same as a rich kid in America?

PLEASE! Their similarities are very few and their match is mostly because of the whole good girl/bad boy pairing we often see; like Hyppolita with Ted Grant. Can I understand there being an attraction? Sure. Does it make for a good relationship? No.
