I won't spoil too much, but after the events of Blackest Night: Wonder Woman #2, I was reminded of the last page from Morrison's JLA #7.
In that issue, The Key shoot the League and left them unconcious and WW was in a strange positon with a hand over Batman's arm.
That image alone made me wonder of a Bats/WW romance that never came, but I always wanted to see.
Her Kingdom Come affair with Superman was interesting but very cold.
It doesn't struck with the same strenght a Bruce/Diana relationship would do.
What do you think?

We already had this discussion in WW and Blackest Night thread. I think we came to friendly agreement that the answerr is something like:

Wonder Woman felt strongly towards Bruce as Undead Bruce was the shock value that caused her emotional spectrum to the level that Nekron could enslave her, so the goddess of love did the same trick with "alive" Bruce and thus breaking away the Black Lantern ring.

Now Diana and Bruce is a cool couple. Bruce builds his muscles so that should turn on any amazonian chick for sure, but hey we also got Artemis and the Blacksmith guy who could be Diana's true love for sure too!

No. Superman.

Hot rough amazon on kryptonian sex is the way to go, DC. :D

I'm pretty sure Plastic Man has a say in that matter as well.

Wonder Woman's just one big ****. She spends alot of time in the Justice League closet.

In the DC Animated Universe at least. The Trinity has at times been portrayed as a Super-Love Triangle

True love =/= your sex fantasies

If Batman was wonder womans true love, he would have chosen her and not catwoman.

I found the idea pretty stupid. I was reading the issue and just thought "where the hell does this come from?!?" Aquaman would have been a better idea IMO. Seriously, Tom Tresser is the big love of Wonderwoman right now, why the hell didn't they use Tom, it would have been more vibrant, more efficient, more logical and more natural IMO. This batman-idea came out of nowhere and above all, contradicts with the Tom Tresser love diana has in her own title. Makes the whole love-violet light-thing a bit unfounded to me. Not good at all.

Wasn't there an issue of the JLA where they talked about having a relationship, but then decided to remain friends?

Or am I just imagining it?

I voted yes, for the mere fact that if Aquaman and Superman are considered good choices for Wondy's true love, than Batman should as well...

But the truth is, Steve Trever is Wondy's true love, and if they didnt age him and marry him off, wonder womans love life wouldnt be shambles

I also liked the idea that Wondy and Bats were together but these days I've been looking at comics, both Batman and WW, he has had mucxhas women and does not deserve someone like Wondy. I always thought that was the Wolverine Batman DC but I was wrong, Wolverine despite everything that Weapon X and what they did do and a life tragic love never give up despite losing his greatest love, Mariko and Jaen but Batman in this sense is a coward comfortable, not risk, because it keeps Selina always have the excuse of lack of confidence to not make your partner for life. WW deserves a real man, someone who plays for it.
As Kara said in the movie "Superman / Batman: Apocalypse": "You have no heart." Hero is as big as a man is worthless. True love of Bruce Selina? Then why not her? Whose work leave behind her love life? Please! Superman Does not tene one? Even the green arrow womanizing married.

Wolverine has a girlfriend now (one that certainly is in danger and which I teach to protect), he has worked alone, with the X-Men, with The Avangers, with the X-Force, with his own demons and that I prevent you never want to give and receive love despite their aggressive nature and never would let tipas Thalia level or Catwoman "fenmmes Fatals" were important to him, women always look good, noble and strong and Jaen, and his current girlfriend Mariko always knew who was for bed and who for the heart like a real man should know.

Batman as a hero is great as a disappointed man, death is going to reach everyone, no excuse to hide, he deserves to Selina (although I think even she deserves it) but on second thought the "daughter of the devil's good" but not his own son wants it. Diana is too much heart, too human for him.

Personally I think that the only men that are worthy of Wonder Woman are Batman and Superman. However, their hearts belong to other women (Selina Kyle and Lois Lane obviously) and Wonder Woman knows that, so she wouldn't even think of courting them.

Neither of them work. I sort of liked her with Nemesis a few years back, he was like an upgraded Trevor. She can't be with them or she is overshadowed and that goes against her whole mission statement. WW should be the star of her own show.

Batman's true love is probably Catwoman, but I did like the hints of a Batman/Wonder Woman relationship. I have no idea who'd I have Wonder Woman pair up with. Her love life is a mess. The Bruce/Diana relationship is definitely one for the alternate/future realities though. I wouldn't want them together in the present, but keep the flirting. I much prefer it over Superman/Wonder Woman.

I think Wonder Woman should try going with girls for a while.

Wonder Woman gets involved in a love triangle with Batman and Batwoman

Actually, this idea was touched upon in Joe Kelly's JLA# 90, in which Batman and Wonder Woman, having kissed in the heat of battle in an earlier story, decide to use Jonn Jonnz' fantabalulous hypothetical future VR machine to see whether or not pursuing their attraction is worth it or not. After a series of possible future scenarios which always ended badly for both parties, they decided it was probably for the best to just stay good friends.

IIRC it was like one future scenario that actually ended pretty much awesomely and Wonder Woman was like "well that was pretty much spectacular but I'm gonna shut it down anyway because the plot says I gotta".

It's been a while since I read the story but I don't remember that. Didn't one of the scenarios end with one of their hypothetical children being murdered by The Joker?
That's gotta put anyone off.
