Batman: Arkham Knight - Part 2

Speaking of that does Rocksteady consider the events of origins cannon? In the interviews they seems to refference Asylum and City but never really origins.

Story wise I wonder if they just consider the events starting from Asylum as part of thieir story?

they said no or the dev that spoke to the certain part press that made the article about it that Pfeiffer-Pfan put up here said they don't. but they had some one that was from their dev team helped make origins. The point is WBIE owns them both in rights . after rock steady leaves. it's just not the full work of rocksteady. the only reason it was done was also cause they some fan scream on the web and the Arkham forum that they wanted the sequel to city now. So WBIE had origins made to shut them up and start another part of the franchise

I also think this was Rocksteady getting a sly little dig at WBMontreal...

Every game feels like a new game, rather than another episode of the previous game. It should feel like a whole new experience.

they're dig should be at WBIE then , their boss's. wbm only did this on their say so and it's the only reason for it. it wouldn't have happened other wise. it's not like they made the chose them selves.

That is pretty much what AO feels like, don't get me wrong I am actually enjoying the story and gameplay but it very much feels like a giant AC episodes DLC...don't get me started on the glitches though.

Again alot was rushed and only on the publisher say so and wanting to stay to a dead line. if they continue with origins I hope their allowed to take their time. since i'm sure WBIE will most likely have it still happen. Well we'll see. but this is rock steadys thread now. So back on topic. that armor is looking sweet.

I liked AO and find I underrated but I don't mind if it is or not part of the canon,Although technically it is anyway

hey, thanks guys. think I'll start with Asylum first.

I didn't know Rocksteady doesn't really consider Origins canon.

yet they had some one from their dev team help make it. (might depend who your asking from there also) but that's the case.

I can understand where Rocksteady is coming from, but this is what happens when you work on existing franchise, you're overshadowed by it.

Still WB Montreal made an excellent story, something i doubt Sefton Hill can accomplish.

Keep in mind we've only seen some photo stills and some screens from a CG sequence that's not going to be in the game. So I think in the final game it will look different.

He looks the same. Neck size is reduced, though.

Well in the previous games he had like the traditional Batman cowl and cape that was all one piece. Now he has more of a Dark Knight armored style one.

Rocksteady is jelous that they can't make boss fights and a story as good as origins

The boss fights were great especially Mr Freeze one. AA Killer Croc chasing you in the sewers. Nervy time for me.

I don't know what you're seeing. He looks as ridiculously oversized as he had in the other games to me. Maybe there's a metal girdle under the new armor. :p

Yeah I've never been a fan of the overly muscled hulkish design they've given batman over these games.

I was hoping with the move to the next gen we'd see a more a streamlined realistic built for batman.

The boss fights in AC were decent for the most part but I agree the story in Origins is better.

AC seemed too much like a batman greatest hits compilation with him bouncing from famous rogue to rogue but AO felt more like a full story/journey.

I thought Asylum's story was quite good overall though.

I agree but Freeze fight was amazing you didn't do same takedowns over and over to beat him. Last fight with Bane was similar to Freeze fight. AA story was decent then again I don't play games for story. Gameplay is important for me.

Also WBM hyped Black Mask as the main villain for AO just like Rocksteady hyped Hugo Strange as the main villain man I hate it Arkham Knight not better be Joker.
