Batman: Arkham Knight - Part 2

Yes he is a liar but the tape recording of the first meeting between Him and queen don't lie.

Here is how it is when AA was made they where not thinking about making origins so those tapes where kool and added to the asylum archives.

Then somewhere when making AC, Origins was planned and it was a great idea to show batman and the joker's first meeting to add more depth to the story of Joker's death in AC.

The way Queen and Joker met having their first session in AO was darker and kooler, more creepy than those tapes, so even if they are not the same it still complemented and did it's job to the overall franchise.

Yes the game is very canon and it does very much feel like a precual to the overall franchise.

I never even realised there was debate over Origins being canon. It's hard to argue that it doesn't feel like it belongs in the series.

The way the Rocksteady guys have described it at least in the last interview, is that origins is canon but there is more connection between Asyslum, City and Knight in terms of an on-going story.

I'd see the Arkham series as a main trilogy with Origins as a prequel or prologue almost to that.

Maybe like the Hobbit to the LOTR trilogy vaguely.

I am one of those people who thinks that Origins had a pretty good story (albeit inferior gameplay compared to AC).

I guess you could look at it that way but to me it's no different than when a new creative team takes over a comic book story or a new director who takes over for a movie sequel. It's all one series in my book regardless of who created what.

lol, I don't see how people are in denial about Arkham Origins not being canon to to Rocksteady's work. Arkham Knight takes some things from Origins such as the character model of Gordon, but make him older. I find his model much different from Asylum and City. The new Batsuit in Knight is heavily inspired by Origins when you look at both suits very closely. Main difference is that the materials used is more advanced and sleek. I think it's a cool throwback to his younger years as Batman. Besides something like that, Origins fits fine within the universe, in my eyes.

And man those shots look fantastic can't wait man, Arkham Knight looks like a combination of Batman and Deathstroke.

As playstation is the one that showed those pics, it might be prof that the are all PS4 versions of the game.

And the graphics really looks as good as the Infiltration tech demo
