The look and concept of the Arkham Knight is already awesome and so having a new character has potential to be put into the comics and perhaps eventually other media as part of he main dc universe

I hope the identity of Arkham Knight is never revealed. He can simply be everything Batman stands for and against. No need for hacky reveals or plot twists. Simply a twisted ideal made flesh.

Did they ever come clean about why they posted that picture of Hush along with the info about expecting some news right before Arkham Knight was announced?

Talk about being out of the loop, I didn't know anything about this game until today. When I clicked on the link at CS I didn't realize Arkham Knight was a character, and what a badass character design he has!

I am also really excited to see we'll finally be getting to drive the Batmobile, I love the design they have went for with that as well, it's like a hybrid of the Tumbler and the classic B89 Batmobile.

I LOVE Arkham Knight's design! Anyone willing to make an avatar out of his 3 badass images?

Not sure if this is what you were hoping for.

I'm 100% convinced Knight will have no connection to any previous Batman character. Rocksteady could easily have gone out of their way to use an existing character but I believe they want to add something to the Batman mythology. Frankly I would find it a cop out if Rocksteady went the Jason Todd route, too often comics just recycle old characters instead of introducing new threats, Rocksteady are in the position whereby they are not bound by the same rules and I see them exploiting that fully.

I agree, I can see why most immediately thought Jason and I even wondered about Harvey Dent as a twist, but being a completely new character to the mythos would be the best way to go.

Well we haven't actually seen it in action yet. All we've seen is a cinematic made specifically for the purposes of promotion. No actual gameplay footage.

gotta say, I like the arkham knight design better than the new batman design
never been a big fan of armored-up Bats, strips out some of what seperates him from Iron Man
that and, with such an armored, technological looking "Arkham Knight", it would be nice to see a bare bones Batman kick his ass

Well assuming that DLC costumes are immediately selectable (and granted that's a big assumption) we might not even have to play with the armor outfit.
