Batman: Arkham Knight - Part 2

Think about this. They are developing for new-gen consoles now. The previous games weren't. Also probably a new sandbox for Arkham City, plus all the stuff with the Batmobile.

Plus, do you want a glitched bugged out game like Origins? Remember how smooth and visceral and awesome City was? If you do, you just have to be patient. It means we aren't getting a rushed product.
they've had those next gen dev kits for quite some time now, long before we even knew of the consoles

I never played Origins, so I wouldn't know

They delayed it to 2015 but what date? A full year?
I personally wouldn't mind it if they needed a full year
Gives people more time to enjoy the Cold Cold Heart dlc for Origins, and LEGO Batman 3

When it was first released it was full of glitches. It took a few patches to get it right.

Not surprised at all that it was delayed. It's rare in the film industry that big movies get delayed but it happens with games all the time. This one in particularly had only just been announced earlier this year.

I am very dissapotend has I was looking forward to it more then any other game on ps4 and we don't have a lot of games on ps4 yet. Form now to the end of the year the only ps4 game I may get is drive club but I have a back lock of like 30 games on ps3 and wii u lol.

I'm a little disappointed about the delay, as October relase dates for Arkham games is like a tradition - plus I already requested the week off to play it, lol - but I'm confident it will be worth the wait, however long it may be.

Hopefully it will just be a few month and we will get it in January or feb and not have to weight like a whole year longer.

Not mad about the push back... honestly just want gaming companies to not release dates until they know they're about done. Even if it was only a 2-4 months out, it would be more honest and worthwhile than what the gaming world does now.

You don't need to offer pre-orders earlier than 3 months anyways.

Maybe someone can explain this to me but what the hell is with people pre-ordering games when they have no idea the quality of the game?

Well it would seem Ive only got one game to look forward to for the rest of the year. Assassin's Creed Unity. I bought this damn console for Elder Scrolls Online, Uncharted 4 and Arkham Knight and all three have turned out to be 2015 games.:cmad: Im beginning to regret spending $400 for what has so far for me been a glorified paperweight more than a game console.

Seems like 9/10 games get delayed these days. Might be time for them to stop announcing release dates to the public a year or two in advance.

I would say because you are confident in the game being good and with a game like this you are confident because of how good the games before where and you can alrease cancerl a pre-order right? I think the silly thing about a pre-order is do the games ever sale out to where you cant get it on the first day with out a pre-order? I have never seen a game sold out in a store before but I have never done a mindnight relies before ether.

It isn't necessarily the wisest thing to do but the thought behind it is that pre-ordered games are ones that the person will get day-one anyway and might be so popular that getting a copy that early wouldn't be possible any other way. Granted the game could turn out to be crap but for some people they know they are going to get it and would rather have it ASAP. Plus there are some bonuses you can get depending on where you get the pre-order. It's not really different than people getting a movie ticket a week or so in advance.

I only have probly 1 game to and that is drive club but I do have a back log of like 30 games so that is why I thought about not getting a ps4 at first but I do love mlb the show and infamous is good. I just got Mario kart on wii u. I thank though that in less you want for like 2 years or so that is kind of a problem that new systems don't have many games. Wii u had like one good game the first year and sences has had like 6 or 7 really good games.

The difference which baffles me I guess is you're paying far more for a game than you are a movie ticket. I see all these awesome pre-order packs for games but they're kinda pointless if the game itself is lacking. But if people know ahead of time what they are getting into it's their money to lose I guess.

Id preorder this game if I was a preordering type of person or if there was a limited supply. Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, Arkham, Bioshock- these are all franchises that I will pay for without ever seeing a single review. Well, with Irrational shutting down I might be hesitant with the next Bioshock, but the rest will get my money everytime.

The studios Naughty Dog, Ubisoft, and Rocksteady proved themselves to me a long time ago. I trust them.

I never really loved the idea behind pre-ordering a game, but if it has some pre-order bonus that I want, then I will grudgingly accept it. The last game I pre-ordered was MLB 14, since it gave you 30,000 of its in-game currency as a bonus. That's actually useful in certain modes of the game, so I might as well. I was buying it anyways.

The armored Batsuit kinda resembles the batsuit from Arkham Asylum

I was thinking that when I played Arkham Asylum challenge maps couple days ago. I wanted that armed Batsuit skin in Arkham City.

Count me among those not bothered by the delay because it affords more time before plunking down for a PS4.

I'm banking on the end result meriting it though.

The delay sucks because I really want some damn Batman, but the end result will be better, so thats a positive. I do hope the game releases in early 2015 though, cuz waiting until like Aug 2015 would suuuuck.

OK, but still, they are making a new game with new-gen tech and they have to create a lot from scratch for it.

yeah it possible they found a unexpected bug the will ruin the whole ame on systems in some way and they rather not take their chance's .

and after seeing how watch dog's preformed I'm sure they want to do well with this it might have inspired them a little more and maybe they "might add in a few more things." "may be"

I really want to be able to use alternate characters in free roam WITHOUT a PC mod.

That's an awesome pic of the new suit!

Theres more than a good chance that won't happen, unless they do something similar to the Catwoman sections from Arkham City, but I wouldn't expect it.

Just saying, fans have wanted that for a long time. It should be an option. If they can do it for Batman and Catwoman, do it for other characters.
