you keep saying that but the l33ft life lounge lit up when they (both the producer ad Troy Baker ) asked repeatedly to the fan watching the twitch live stream of theirs about that and the there was here too and other parts of the web.

I think Batman Beyond had enough of a fallowing since he had some of the same villain's like Bane and gentleman ghost and then there ere new ones like Ink ad that earth quake guy and a few others. lol and no we had enough Joker

If they do a Batman Beyond game then Derek Powers aka Blight should be the lead;

Him and Inque were always my favorite Batman Beyond created villains.

A lot of fans actually complained online about Blight in the first season and they got rid of him by the end of the first season.

I don't think we saw Blight again until the comics.

I'd rather have rocksteady. Montreal still has some kinks to work out imo.

it was WB Montreal's producer that promised it with Beyond though. And what ever your issue they were rushed and didn't have the pull Rocksteady has to say they want more time cause they had just set up their studio at Montreal and were made specifically for that with Holmes still being reacent even if he was head director he was recent to the place and studio as a whole.

which I hope has changed also Rocksteady is done with all things batman as they stated after this game is finished with it.

the fact that rock steady has done this twice with saying they want more time to polish. and we are all aware of it now. WBE better let them (WBM) to have the privilege's Rock steady has, to say when they are not ready and they need more time to polish.

bring back Mad Stan and have Henry Rollins voice him again

he was my favorite Batman Beyond villain

LOL, his answer to everything was to "blow it all up!"

As long as they can put out a game with less kinks. I liked origins and they were on the right track, there were just a few small things that they needed to improve upon. But if they can put out a better quality game.

This is why they should never listen to fanboys. Blight was awesome.

That's completely ridiculous. He was easily the most memorable villain in Beyond (and that show had several). Wow.

Why on earth did they even listen to fans at that point in time? The internet was in its infancy yet the troll and idiocy within the fandom was still as obnoxious as ever.

Man, I was freaking annoyed when Blight was just gone and they did nothing with him.

I'm honestly shocked to hear that he received a negative reception. It makes no sense to me.

I was around 9 or 10 at the time so my usage of the internet was limited but I remember thinking he was a damn good villain at the time (still do). Never would have thought in a million years that he received a bad reception.

I don't recall ANY negative reception... VileOne may have pulled that out of thin air. In fact, people were constantly asking for his return in the show. He was a very popular character. The only complaint somewhat levelled at him was that he was Luthor-lite.

The network demanded that the producers get the show ''out of the boardroom'' and into the high school. Thus, in season 2 we saw an influx of student villian of the week episodes.

And really... Bruce Timm doesn't listen to fanboys anyway.

Blight getting his premier vs Mr. Freeze was one of the highlights of that show.

I didn't pull it out of thin air at all. Blight was gone after the first season A lot of fans did complain about him on the online forums that were around at the time.

I think people didn't like him because he was another evil corporate CEO villain type.

That's not how television production works. All the script work and voice acting is long produced before anything else. There's no time to address online complaints, even if that was their intention.

Maybe the producers wanted to keep the villain dead? Maybe it was just a creative choice?

They stretched those seasons out back then. I got the sense that they moved away from Blight because fans didn't like him.

There are some case's that happens Gilligan Island was know to be cancelled cause some tv executive wife that ran the statio it aired on noticed it was doing better in ratings the her fave Soap opera and made him cancel it. there are lot of utty stuff that had good show do weird stuff or were cancelled for. so it's ot that uncommon.

And there was no world wide web back then ether. But in this case I don't think that was fully the case with blight. BTW I don't think there was a overload of evil Ceo's or corporate types back then it's more rampant now then back then.

Maybe the fact that he was like the already made befor that Atomic skull in the books. who's powers are very similar. Who knows?

The Batman Beyond series lost something when Blight left, so maybe it was a mistake to get rid of him.

If they make a Beyond game, I hope they don't bring Max Gibson into it, or not make her character so annoying if they do.

The best thing to come out of Batman Beyond is Return of the Joker, hands down.

It'd be cool to actually see a TDKR styled game from Rocksteady. I know it'll never happen, but it's something I can dream about.
