DC All Access Top 10 Batman Arkham Franchise Cutscene

Overall a solid list. My only gripe is they didn't include the Joker/Harley therapy scene from AO. That should have been there instead of the Mad Hatter's tea party cut scene from AC.

I'm also surprised the Scarecrow cut-scene from Arkham Knight didn't make the cut?

A lot of Arkham Origins cutscenes in there, and I'd say that's warranted. The story is solid with solid moments. I echo The Joker's gripe about the Joker/Harley therapy scene not making the list. That was fantastic.

Arkham Origins had the best story of the Arkham games, at least to me. A lot of it's cut scenes deserve to be on there...and I third the complaint that the therapy scene isn't on the list.

Arkham Origins is my favorite, and I'm not embarrassed to admit it.

It's my favorite as well. Origins, City and then Asylum would be my order. And like everyone else said above I also agree. The Joker/Harley scene needed to be in there for sure.

If Origins had the visuals of City it would be my favourite. It just lacked that attention to detail the other two games had imo. It was still a great and worthy addition to the Arkham franchise though.

Origins had my favorite story of the three (though I really wish they'd move past the "one night" thing).

Origins had the best character moments but the plot had the same problem of having an excess of content that it doesn't follow through on everything. The Joker was very well done for instance but, like in City, just eats the story until there's nothing left. So Bane (also well done for most of the game) and Black Mask don't end up panning out. Knight is liable to have a similar problem given the absurd size of the world they're building. You can handle that much story well but it becomes harder the bigger it gets, becoming almost a trade off of having such a huge sandbox to play in. It's why Asylum still has the best, tightest story out of all of them despite the ending. I also don't think the gameplay in Origins is up to par so it's left as the weakest for me.

I love how this guy say the Arabic word for head as Terry said it in the cartoon, and as as they say it in The Dark Knight movies, it sounds closer to the word head than the way you hear it in the cartoons and games, 'Raysh' sounds more like 'feathers' than it does 'head'.
A solid bunch of cutscenes.

I won't call the Harley/Joker therapy scene an all the way cutscene, it's half gameplay.

Bro, feel none.
I feel that way at times.

It's my favorite as well. Origins, City and then Asylum would be my order.
Three main reasons I usually put City ahead of Origins as my favorite is:

1. No minions accompanying Bane in the fight against him. In Origins they are fine to charge the Electricutioner gauntlets.
2. The laughs Arkham City made me have. Scaring the $#%^ out of Penguin playing as Bruce Wayne, making Harley whine and cry.
3. Combat control in that game is the most fluid, the counterattack button never failed me mid-fight.

Pay your respects is an added bonus

Part of the reason Origins is my favourite is because of the look of the city (and suit and everything else). Though it's fine, I find the other style of Gotham to be... just trying too hard and ugly (not in the good way).

Nice to see all the love for Origins

It's my favorite of the three games, too. It might not be quite as polished in some areas as Rocksteady's, but it's still a brilliant game, with the best story and characterizations by a long shot. Plus I love the snow blizzard and Christmas atmosphere of Gotham in it the best.

Same here. Even with the glitches it's my favorite.

The funny thing is I never once experienced any of the glitches or problems. I must've gotten a perfect copy haha.

Agreed man the story and characterization is definitely the best in the series. Great cut scenes and the snow/Christmas atmosphere to Gotham is perfect.

City is still my favorite.

Arkham Origins really shined with characterizations. It was probably it's strongest element.

Rocksteady's Batman is far too stiff and lacks a dynamic personality. Let's hope they give Conroy something to do in this final outing.

Mine too. Needed a little more time for a bit of polishing up, but it doesn't change the fact it's a great game. As others have said, it had the best story and characterization the trilogy. Hopefully Arkham Knight took notes in that regard.

I thought the gameplay was much worse than the first two, and the button lag was incredibly noticeable. It's the only one I never wanted to go back and play once I beat it. The first two I've gone back multiple times to play.

just wait for what was said to be a directors cut of the game "game play "wise. oh for those of you that missed when I put it up in the gaming lounge

the game desinger is still around even though I have trouble at time remembering who that was. there's also the two producers.

I'm loving the Arkham Origins fandom here. I'm incredibly comfortable to see them take the reigns after AK and let us explore Batman's earlier years.

My game didn't have (many) glitches. So I LOVED Origins!

I had a **** ton of glitches.:( Nearly every time I'd grapple boost or dive and pull up the framerate would plummet to somewhere between 0-5 fps. Every single ****ing time. If I got going on a hit streak in a fight the frame rate would plummet. And there were a few times where prompts to activate a cut scene or a jump button prompt would never come and I'd have to cut the game off and back on and just pray that the previous checkpoint didn't corrupt. Despite this tho I had a lot of fun with the story. I got invested in it a lot more. Like the scene where Alfred seems like he is going to kick the bucket. I knew he couldn't die in a prequel, but I was still torn up about it and thinking "Alfred you better not die on me!":funny: I never got like that at any point in City and Asylum. The acting and all the elements of Origins just clicked with me better.

I need to delete the game install files on my PS3 and reinstall them and replay the game. I'm thinking that the glitches, or at least the excessive amount of glitches may have been a result of a bad install.

Origins worked fine, only froze up once on me. TBF, so did AC....and yeah, AO had the best story, AC had the worst.
