hey i dont have time right now to read the script hopefully ill get around to it, but i just wanted to say that i dont think its a good idea for you to play the lead. please dont take this the wrong way or me trying to be a jerk or aynthing, but 1. its incredibly difficult to direct and be the main character, it will increase the length of shooting dramatically. 2. from the pictures you look a little scrawny. maybe in darker lighting you wont be able to tell, but you look a little small to be batman. and believe me im the king of scrawny so im not trying to insult you, just that heroes have to look like a hero. and 3. i dont personally know why you want to play batman, so i wont accuse you. but i just hope your not doing it because you want the glory of directing and acting as the lead. again, dont take this the wrong way just i didnt like the idea of you directing and playing batman. but hey its your film and you can do it any way you want. ill def watch it when its made.

I think the way some of you are addressing this movie like its going to be a huge budget here.. it isn't.. my team and i are going to do the best we can..and thats all i can ask of our selfs.. however its very disheartening to find that i havn't heard anything from you other..than..you shouldn't do this..you shouldn't do that..wheres the superherohype encouragment i have come to love... infact..i just think your trying to take the piss out of me..

I think the storyline is good, I like the involvement of Gordon. I like having a normal hero in the script, it makes Batman even more of a hero in comparison.

I like the elements of realism, Jim mentioning his blood pressure, stuff like that. Little touches but very important to creating a believable enviroment.

The rapist at the beginning - you need to establish how exactly he knows about Two-Face. If he's one of his men, Batman should say, "You've worked for Two-Face before. Where is he?"

You should take notice of the criticisms on your costume though....regardless of your budget, you can't expect people to take a film seriously if they can't take the costume seriously. I'm sorry, but it is a bad outfit and you do look silly.

I think that the costume looks good considering the budget, hell WB has lots of money and they still can't make a good looking costume.

It looks better in better lighting though..the costume changes, and the cape is a full wrap around over the shoulders.. also i'm wearing contact lenses..that shot was just to show how it looked..hell i'm still impressed with what i have done..

Two reasons why....

1. Hide the costume, but also make Batman more mysterious
2. Gordon comes off best in the script

I know you want to have scenes of Batman fighting and being heroic and all that jazz, but it's always better to do the very best you can achieve rather than do exactly what you want to do.

thats was actually my plan.

Gordon is the focus of this story..but i wanted to make Batman seem responsible for the death of gordons wife to create conflict between the two...


As for the suit..its hidden with the cape..until fight scenes..i wouldn't worry.

I am working on a sequel to Superman Returns myself. Not something I am going to be able to film like you're doing though. I wish....heheheh.
