i couldnt find the other the batman created, i did search all 6 pages for it, but still no luck. so i hope the batman doesntmind.

i just read issue 655. for some odd reason i dont think thats talia al ghul. has anyone been keeping up with the secret six, is it her? i know morrison said he was going to bring son of the demon back on continuity, but i think that might've been a rouse(sp?).

this might sound odd, but i think this has something to with the second batman we saw, what if he ends up being the kids father. something tells me we'll probbaly see more of him. i could be wrong tho.

if that is talia, jason todd did spend time with her...so maybe they got freaky together.. and in batman hush and the issues ensuing aka the red hood arc. could'nt jason todd match bruce's moves and better, we know he likes to pose as others especially in costume, but what if he could duplicate others mannerisms(which the kid also bought up)..hmm.

in some twisted way i can see morrison doing this.

what do you guys think?

im pretty sure thats talia... like 99.9% sure

Gordan specifically stated that the batman that got pummelled by the joker and shot the joker was a fed up policeman in a batman costume... nice try... its bat's kid

when did the kid bring up duplicating mannerisms? its clear talia has trained him to study batman and recognize his mannerisms and posture in and out of costume, but nothing was said of duplication.

i think not... morrison has more up his sleeve than that...

i never said the kid bought up duplicating mannarisms, i was referreing to what if jason todd could do such a thing. when i bought up the kid, i meant that he knows the manerisms of bruce wayne. that maybe morrison was trying to do a fake out. i was thinking since jason was going out preteding he was nightwing and could match batman's fighting moves, that the mannerisms the kid was studying could be jasons pretending to be bats. i didnt catch the ex cop part, so that knocks taht out the window.

but that lady really didnt seem like talia tho. talia really doesnt torch other people, thats not in her character at all. sure alot things can chnage OYL, but i doubt thats whats going on. I just dont think thats tali, shes more of a compassionate person, that lady just seemed like a kaniving(sp?) *****.

btw how can you say its not? that'll be a perfect twist if my previous notion was'nt thrown out the window.

i think it would be more of a cop out than a perfect twist...

Kubert's art was awesome. I don't see myself sticking with this comic, though. Detective's first issue was about a thousand times more interesting, and I already don't like the direction Morrison's going here or the plot points he's revealed so far in his future plans.

I can't decide whether I like Morrison's Batman or Dini's Detective Comics more. Detective was extremely stylish and moody, with a very original story to tell, and it reminded us of Bruce Wayne's existance. Batman was typically subversive for Morrison. with the characters of Batman, The Joker and Gordon all shaken up within a few pages. I must say that I am thrilled to see Bruce venture abroad again- his foreign adventures are often my favorite. I love the promise of a re-introduction to the Al Ghul family, and I think that a shift in The Joker's personality due to brain dammage could be great. Equally, Dini's upcoming pairing of Batman and The Riddler in sleuthery sounds superb.

I couldn't be more happy to read them both.

Ummm Jason Todd did not get freaky with Talia for the sole reason that he was still a kid when he was with her in the Annual.

Same, but ill stick with both books. But as of right now Detective is a lot better in my eyes.

It was a pretty good start by Morrison and Kubert. I think what I really liked the most was Bruce Wayne getting back into his playboy persona and he sort of forgot how to do it since he's been too busy being a bad ass and all. And Alfred had to help him out, heh. I thought that was kind of fun.

Yeah, we saw Bruce Wayne's persona in Detective Comics too.

Detective Comics #822Paul Dini is rocking this title. Another stand alone issue (remember Dini says they might not be as stand alone as you think) involving the murder of Bruce Wayne's "friend" and The Riddler, now refromed comes to his aid. Twists and turns abound, its great that we get to see Batman live up to the Worlds Greatest Detective title. Kramer's art was at his best but I think we can all agree that JHWIII is missed. Wont compare to Morrison's Batman since they both have different agendas but its great to see a beginning, middle and end in one issue, stand alones rock. 10/10

this was a greeat issue, i cant belive roxy rocket was in this, if irst saw her from the cartoon, seeing her gave me nostalgia. I'll be honest tho, i rather have don kramer on this title, then JHW3.

9/10.

I dont mind Kramer, and Rags was supposed to be on this title. But JHWIII has an interesting style and id love to see him more often on DC.

Its very exciting time to read both Detective Comics and Batman. I usually decline to read anything that Morrison writes that involves a character with super powers and Batman has no super powers I'm curious to see what Morrison does with Batman.

ay yo leaguer, you got alotta nerve hang'n out in a comic forum with nerds, maybe you wanna be a nerd. huh?

Yes it's Talia. If Robin can be in Robin, Batman, Detective Comics, Teen Titans, and Battle for Bludhaven all in one month, Talia can be in Batman and Secret Six. People also have to take into account that Talia has gotten crueler since Ra's al Ghul was killed.

this might sound odd, but i think this has something to with the second batman we saw, what if he ends up being the kids father. something tells me we'll probbaly see more of him. i could be wrong tho.
Nope, the second Batman was just a disgruntled cop who wanted to get rid of the Joker.

Batman's moves are superior to Jason Todd's. The reason why he often ended up in a draw with Batman was because Batman's mind was heavily distracted and in turmoil to find out that Jason was indeed back.

And all Talia did was take care of Jason and threw him in the Lazarus Pit. Afterwards she helped him flee from Ra's al Ghul right away and financed him. They never got freaky. Talia would never bone the son of her love and Jason would never bone his adoptive father's ex-wife.

Where do you get theese facts, Hippie?

You can just say Batman > Jason, or vice versa, you're not god, god dammit.

Kubert's art on Batman just doesn't seem the same style as he used when he was working with Marvel.

And for the first time, I'm actually looking forward to reading Detective Comics more than Batman. Dini has been impressive with his first two issues for his run on Detective Comics.
