Batman Elimination Game Suggestion Box

Oh, you are making a lil summary for each one on the first post for people?

Yes, but I'm mostly copying from other sites. :o

Why not use the Batman Animated Series site?

Also...after this round perhaps we can do what Fledermaus suggested...just any of those arcs that are put into Graphic Novels knock off from the list. Also, add some...basically that round would be best Bat story not including the Graphic Novels.

Or perhaps do not include the arcs that were in the Graphic Novel round we just did?

Hellstormer had the idea to go with best Batman-related movie/season. Using seasons of B:TAS or BB would probably be a bit too ambiguous for most, but I do like the idea of a movies specific round.

Batman (1966)
Batman (1989)
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
Batman Begins
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Batman: Subzero
Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
Batman/Superman Movie (World's Finest)
The Batman vs. Dracula

That sounds like a really good round...but did you read this?

It would not be like the Graphic Novel round.

Course, the idea Hellstormer had is really interesting as well.

I read it and I like the story arc idea. I just thought it might be better to space it out a bit as to avoid confusion with the graphic novel round. Or maybe that's unnecessary; it's a different premise. I would knock off anything that was included in the GN/TPB round though.

Yea that is what I said...knock off anything from the earlier round.

But what about the arcs that were made into Graphic Novels but were not in our recent round?

Yea like my favortie arc, As the Crow FLies :o
No seriously I love that arc.

Hmm. I don't want it to seem like another GN round, 'cause that didn't turn out so hot. Then again, if I knock out all the ones that were turned into GNs, would the list be recognizable enough to a good number of people?

No seriously I love that arc.

I won that set at the midnight screening of Batman Begins. Answered the very first of five trivia questions correctly. Just got into reading comics regularly a few weeks ago, and found it sitting on my shelf, so I put it in my queue to read.

Just for clarification, is it in five parts? The last two both say part four inside.

Great  I love off the wall ideas.

I'm backtracking through the thread and trying to gather up all the ideas. I'm glad the Gotham Places idea doesn't seem too wacky.

I think it's good to throw in a couple of different themes to the old fave film/graphic novel types. Keeps things fresh.

Best Character in Succession

Jean-Paul Valley (Batman)
Dick Grayson (Batman)
Barbara Gordon (Batgirl [Pre-Crisis])
Huntress (Batgirl)
Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)
Kate Kane (Batwoman [Pre-Crisis])
Holly Robinson (Catwoman)
Matt Hagen (Clayface)
Preston Payne (Clayface)
Michael Akins (Commissioner, GCPD)
Nyssa Raatko (Leader, League of Assassins)
Talia al Ghul (Leader, League of Assassins)
Jason Todd (Robin)
Tim Drake (Robin)
Stephanie Brown (Robin)

Kate Kate (Batwoman [Pre-Crisis])

That looks very interesting.

Honestly, I haven't decided yet. I was going to wait until tomorrow morning and just pick one. I'd want to space out the Story Arc one a bit more, so Gotham City Locations, Best Movie, Best Character in Succession, B-List TAS Villains. Any preferences?

I really loved the Best Character in Succession idea. That is perhaps one of the most original ideas ever when comparing other elimination games and previous rounds.

I was kinda leaning towards that or Locations. I'll see if I can't come up with a few more characters to get it to 15. Maybe a couple of Clayfaces or League of Assassins leaders.

A little bump here...and I'm off to my class...see ya later guys...let's get some ideas rolling and decisions made!

One of the things that make these elimination games the best is not only the great round choices but the fact that the next rounds are put up quickly.
