Not doubtful, realistic. Batman wouldn't stand a chance against like 90% of the X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, etc.

You seem very doubtful about Batman.
Please explain yourself.

:funny:

I find that funny for some reason.

Of course Batman could "Survive" in the Marvel Universe. If Punisher, Black Widow, Hawkeye, etc can survive there then Batman would be just fine.

He would certainly have a rougher time of it though.

The Marvel universe has a far more fractious time stream which would reduce his prep time. :woot:

If Kang ever showed up Batman is up s**t creek.

Yes, as long as he have some Robins to spare...

Batman would be alone.Robin never made the trip to the Marvel universe.None of the Robins were allowed to go.

Oookay... so this is Batman from the DCU being sent to the Marvel U?

I predict wacky adventures, some trite hero vs hero misunderstanding fights that have no winners, maybe a team up against some massive threat from the DCU that Batman saves the day from with his prior knowledge of it, and then he and Mr. Fantastic find a way to send him back. Neither universe references it ever again.

The answer to a "can Batman do this?" question is always yes with prep time. Question should have been how much prep time does he need to survive the Marvel Universe. I'm thinking less than 5 Minutes

Batman is very similar to Iron Man, so I'm sure he would be able to exist & survive in the Marvel Universe.

Doubtful since DoomsDay was already a superbeing even in Krypton. Superman had his hands full & struggled a lot to defeat him, so logic suggests Batman would'nt fair better.

Doomsday is DC. This thread is if Batman was in the Marvel universe.

Most of the X-men could take him, easily. Characters like Thor, Hulk, Surfer, well any result other than a broken bat is laughable. Cap would realistically destroy him without any superpowers.

Of course DoomsDay is DC. I was just pointing out that if he could'nt beat him, he'd be hard pressed against other comparable characters such as he in Marvel.

I think Batman could survive in the Marvel universe. Not everyone in the Marvel Universe has superpowers, and many of them do fine.

Of course Batman will survive. If he can survive Darkseid's Omega Effect, he could survive anything.

Okay... First of all I'm just going to point out that I am a hardcore Batman fan, so anyone who says differently can delete that comment right now.

Anyways. Why does everyone keep asking about prep time? And why has the topic of this board morphed into "Would Batman survive a fight with Marvel heroes"? Nobody cares if Thor would pwn Batman's ass. The question was whether or not Batman would survive in the Marvel universe. And I think he might be able to, as long as he stuck with the other heroes. If he worked together with Spidey and Cap he'd be just fine, I think. But if he decided to go off on his own, there's no way he'd survive long. The fact of the matter is BATMAN IS HUMAN. He has no powers, he has no prolonged life (yes I realize he recently "came back from the dead" but that has nothing to do with him having any kind of powers), he has nothing but his intellect and therefore his gadgets to save him. And granted, those will get him far because he is very intelligent and extremely good at solving problems and figuring out how to best his foes. But he doesn't have to figure out how to beat superhuman villains very often, does he? He needs TIME (yes, that prep time everyone is so fond of talking about) to construct a plan to overcome his enemies, especially when they aren't just regular humans, and that TIME that he needs just might get him killed if Electro starts aiming lightning bolts at his face.

He got his back broken and kick a demons ass. I think he can survive

What? Just because he's sustained great bodily harm (which, by the way, put him out of commission for a few months) and managed to fend off a demon with the help of a bunch of other heroes automatically means he'll have no issues? Really?

If Batman can survive iN the DCU, then he can survive the MCU.

He fought off Ras al ghul alone idiot

Ras isn't all that special, idiot. He needs a mystical pit to continue living, it's not like he has any powers himself.

Aaaaand... Which Batman are we talking about, out of curiosity? Grayson or Bruce? o.O

I agree. While Batman would not beat the Hulk (without a special Hulkbuster armor like Iron Man uses) and the like, that doesn't matter if he doesn't fight them. I don't think that there would be a certainty he would encounter the more powerful characters that would most likely beat them, let alone on hostile terms. Hell, seeing as to how Daredevil can survive an encounter with the Hulk with only sensory superpowers, (granted, it's by the power of ********) I think that Batman could too.
