Batman is fully capable of beating any villain. He should never be seriously in trouble, he should be the reason the League gets out of trouble.

I dont think I really look at it like that. To me Batman is realistic, he is the only realistic superhero. So to put him in an unrealistic world it puts the reader into that same world unlike any other comic hero.circa81 said:Does anyone ever wish that Batman was like more realistic, ala batman begins? Isn't it wired how in the batman comics the situations are, for the most part, realistic, (relatively speaking) and at the same time they are in a universe that has aliens and androids and stuff like that.

I prefer 'realistic' Batman comics. I'd put DKR in there along with TKL, YearOne, Arkham etc. I'd prefer there were no zombies, no JLA, no Clayfaces, no evolutionary throwbacks or ice-ray guns, no telepathy and no supernatural stuff.
But then the best thing about comics is the variety of stories and styles.
Nice one 7Hells^
circa81 said:Actually, what I find hard to believe; in world every other occupation is either superhero or supervillain, I find is odd that people would be intimidated by Batman. Like in year one, when everyone was calling him a creature...so What? According to DC history, there has been metas since before WW2. Also it could be argued that it is strange that people would consider Batman a "Urban legend" when, as I've said, super people have been around for decades.
there is no one that could take any and all villains otherwise they would clearly have the powers to make other superheroes completely redundant.dude love said:uh... yes.
