Batman & Son, Assault on Arkham announced

I'll be interested to see them adapt Morrison's "Batman and Robin" onto a film so that non-comic book readers can see just how great (and better in some respects than Bruce) Dick Greyson was as Batman. Not to mention his fine chemistry with Wayne jr.

But Damien's story opened and ended (literally) within Morrison's mega narrative and never intended to be used by anyone else (a shame). How would he be in other stories?

Plenty of other writers have written him in bat-books and even other DC titles. He's a character that has been entertaining everywhere he's appeared.

Hopefully the art style steers clear of Kubert's rendition of Batman. What a horrible, horrible artist. Can't believe DC paid the Kubert brothers lots of money just to produce a Batman that looks WORSE than what the previous artists were doing. They could have hired Graham Nolan to draw a much better Batman for considerably less.

"Horrible" seems a bit much... I quite liked his Marvel 1602 art.

That said, I don't know if it'd look good animated.

Just thought I'd note that Jay Oliva has seemingly confirmed that Son of Batman has the same art and character designs from Justice League: War.

James Tucker has also said that Jason O'Mara will be voicing Batman in his solo adventures... based on the actors availability. However between this and Miereanu's statement that O'Mara is ''the Batman voice for some time now'', it looks like he'll have a trifecta next year.

Having been a "hero" on "Warehouse 13" and a villain on "Arrow," can you imagine a place for yourself in one of the DC or Marvel movies?

I would love any of them, really. Yeah, I've been finding my place in the DC Universe. I'm doing DC animated features. I've been doing the voice of Dick Grayson. It's funny, because I'm like, "Here I am in the DC comic book world and my dear friend [Joss Whedon], who I love so much, is the king of the Marvel world."

Dick Grayson didn't appear in Batman and Son, but you never know if it's Dick who makes a cameo in Batman and Son instead of Tim Drake, could be also for Batman Arkham movie or some unannounced project.

The trailer is fantastic. They actually made changes to the story that seem to improve upon it for once.

That's funny that Sean Maher is voicing Dick Grayson. I used to always think he was perfect for that part watching Firefly all those years ago. Great casting.

That could be a good thing. Damian IS supposed to be annoying at the beginning, and then he becomes more likeable over time.
