This is fantastic news!

About a year ago, my friend stumbled upon an online library of a ton of TAS music. He burned it all for me.

I have every title card theme, and some bits and pieces from within certain episodes. Nothing was labeled, and the order was jumbled for the most part, so I went through my DVDs episode by episode and identified each piece by ear to label tracks.

I will definitely be getting these, though.

This soundtrack is just full of WIN. Those that are waiting for this to arrive in the mail, you are in for a treat, because this is just amazing.

It is indeed. Much better than I recalled. The overture is amazing and Shirley Walker showing the versatility of the Batman theme on the Piano is just stunning. Two Face is my favorite score so far. BUt the highlights are too many to list.

The music is outstanding, but they really missed the mark not including "HEART OF ICE" (or follow-ups),as Mr.Freeze got the best musical tratment of all the villains. Catwoman's theme is may second favorite BTW.

I agree. Love that Music of the Bat 101 bonus track. She's truly missed.

I ordered mine on the 8th and it just got here yesterday so yours should be coming any day. This soundtrack is soo good the music is fantastic! Shirley Walker was the greatest!!!! It's sad that she passed away. I don't think there is any other animated show with an amazing soundtrack as good as BTAS.

I'd love to have Scarecrow's theme from the last season of the show when he was re-designed. That stuff was creepy sounding.

Apparently... it's a difficult rights issue and WB may be looking to release the shows music on digital only. Bottom line their are no plans at this time.

That's a shame...I really thought they did a fantastic job with Vol. 1. I'll still be crossing my fingers and holding out a little hope, but not too much.
