What did you think about it?
I think that everyone should pick this up and that DC has to reprint this sucker with a sturdy cover!

I loved it. I love that classic storytelling, as well as that equally classic art, and it REALLY gears me up for The Spirit ongoing.

I gotta say though, it seemed to have one or two major continuity flubs.

That art looks beautiful, it has a real classic feel to it, as CConn said.

The only problem I had with it is Harley being around when Dick's Robin, but it was such a good book otherwise, so I don't mind all that much.

Gave it a 6 on a 10 scale.

I have ALL the pages!! HA HA!
I inked on blue line print outs which means we both have original art.

And we're pretty well on schedule, yes. I think I'm all right in telling you that I've inked up to issue four and that Darwyn's pencils on all of this are nothing short of incredible.

I'm thrilled that so many of you have enjoyed the book.

It's how Batman met The Spirit. And they team up against each other's rogues etc etc.

Why does Loeb always use so many villain in his storylines? Even though he did it here again, I still enjoyed it very much.

Loeb's works about Batman are usually good. He does his best work when writing Batman. My only quibble with this issue is the continuity didn't seem to be quite right.
