The Hunger Games opened with 152.5mil in March and Alice in Wonderland opened with 116mil. Alice made a billion worldwide and The Hunger Games made 408mil here in the states alone.

I haven't been there since they started filming, but when I have been there in the past couple of weeks with the security guards I made sure to stand a block down the street and use my camera zoom settings. The Car chase is supposed to be filming tomorrow so I'm definitely going to be down there tomorrow.

Did you ever figure out if that semi that was upside down with the hole blown in it was part of the movie?

FYI, I saw on twitter they were filming at the Guardian Building today. Wherever that is.

I am sincerely hoping they will bring out the Batmobile this weekend!

If security threatens people for standing in a public space and filming something happening in a public space that's total BS. Honestly I'd tell the rent-a-cops to recite which law I was breaking (knowing I wasn't breaking even one statute), and then I'd demand they leave me the heck alone. Sheesh. LOL

Btw, I live in LA and attended all nights of the Hollywood Blvd filming of the chase sequence in the NBC WW pilot. No security person ever was rude. In fact, when we got very close, they just respectfully asked if we could move back few feet.

The guardian building is definitlly going to be used for some visuals for the movie and I wonder if It is going to be in gotham or Metropolis.
