Yep, the time has come. After three long years, when Batman v Superman was announced at San Diego Comic-Con, the movie is finally here and we get to open our reviews thread. Plenty of hypsters will see the movie tomorrow. The rest of us will join them from Tuesday. That's also when the embargo ends so the critics reviews will start to flow. I personally don't think there is a need of a separate thread for a non-spoiler reviews. I think it would be easier for people to just write their reviews in one place and tag the spoilery bits. However, if you guys think there should be another one, let the mods know in your comments so the title can be changed.

Fight Night!
The greatest gladiator match in the history of the world.
Black and Blue. God vs Man. Day vs Night. Son of Krypton vs Bat of Gotham!

In a few days this thread will become an absolute war zone if the reviews aren't high.

The Apocalypse is upon us!

What about that picture thread? steve4991 was going to create it. Anyone care to nudge him?

Oh jeez, this thread will shut this place down. But maybe like TDKR reviewers will be scared to give a negative review ;)

I doubt that, since Zack Snyder isn't a supreme being unlike Nolan with his Inception and The Dark Knight.

fans and critics. Hype vs reviews. DC vs RT. Son of BvS vs critics of the internet!

I just found out I'm seeing this tomorrow at 7 central time. I'll have some thoughts up by midnight or so.

I feel like the extended cut will be a whole different movie. That's the vibe I've gotten from people who've seen both. Very curious about the difference in reception to both

I can't even imagine what those 30 minutes are. I'll know more after seeing it tonight as to whether or not this theatrical cut feels like those 30 minutes are missing. I hope not.

The Sun review:

The intensity of the insanely long film is achieved with special effects, plot twists, geeky references and the volume being turned up to eleven from start to finish.

While die-hard DC Comic devotees might be punching the air as the Justice League are teasingly introduced, the average film fan may be left scratching their head.

Overall Zac Snyder's Batman v Superman blockbuster is an emotionally charged punch-up — but it's newcomer Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman who really steals the show.

I wonder if Wonder Woman is the equivalent of Hulk in the first Avengers where the screentime is limited, but what little there is, is used effectively.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

So some user reviews should be posted tonight or tomorrow?

yeah guys are we gonna see your reviews (spoiler free) today?
thanks in advance

She's probably the equivalent of Black Widow in IM2. Limited screen time here and there, and then becoming very prominent in the third act. And her scenes are probably just the two or three scenes with Bruce Wayne, and then the Doomsday fight scene.

I agree. Wonder Woman in this movie, just like Hulk in the first Avengers movie, isn't needed, but will make the movie slightly better due to the fact she's in it. That's how I felt about Hulk anyway.
