The Dark Knight Rises Batman's blood from the end of TDK: Police evidence

After Batman was shot by Dent, his armor was ripped open and blood most certainly spilled out. Wouldn't the police c.s.i. team analyze the blood and determine that it belongs to Bruce Wayne? I'm sure this will be an issue in the third film because of Nolan's heightened realism. What do you think?

(In BB, during the facing the fear test League of Shadows, Ra's/Ducard was upset that Bruce's arm was cut and blood spilled out leaving a trace or sign)

Gordon could hide all evidence. Assuming that blood was spilled, of course.

If the bullet actually got that deep, then I don't think Batman would be around for a third film. Remember, Bat's armour is designed to stop bullets. The force might hurt, and on occasion, one might get through, but they'd never get so deep he'd be trailing blood.

At least, not in my opinion (if realism is our watchword, of course).

Well, the suit is designed to stop bullets, especially if he's not incredibly close to the person. Afterall, said suit exists in real life...or at least the material.

Would they be able to trace it to Bruce Wayne? Would they have a record of Bruce Wayne's DNA? I don't know if police or governments hold DNA data unless you are a convited felon or have spent time in a nut house.

I dont think the bullet pierced his armor. Sure it hurt at impact but it didnt look like he was injured at any time after that. You'd think after the fall, if the bullet actually pierced his armor that he'd be holding his side or something and he wouldn't just be standing there, giving gorden the speech about wanting to take the fall. The armor did it's job.

And why would they have bruce wayne's dna on file? He's not a criminal nor would he ever be suspected of being batman by gorden especially after the incident with bruce saving reese.

Yes, we couldn't see if the armor was really damaged to allow the bullet to hurt Bruce. And, even if it was, I am sure Gordon would not let C.S.I. or cops do a neat job. After all, they had to hid what Dent had just done.

Cop: What the...? What's this? Blood? Batman's blood?

Gordon: Uh... No, that's...uh... my blood... yeah... I got a nosebleed, see?

Cop: Oh, we'll just leave it at that, then.

There was no blood. If the bullet really penetrated Bruce's stomach like that, then he certainly wouldn't be able to run away like he did (at the very least).

I don't know about the end scene's blood, but as far as the armor stopping bullets:

"Now there is a trade off. Separation of the plates makes you more vulnerable to knives and gunfire."

yeah and more than likely the bullet hit the plate not the undersuit portion

Does the GCPD have Bruce Wayne's DNA on file for anything? How would they compare it to find out its his?

in BB ra's wasnt mad that he left dna evidence, it was that he left an identifiable mark. "I havent"

I doubt the bullet went through. The suit has vulnerable points...but it isn't completely vulnerable. I'm pretty sure the impact winded him, keeping him down for a bit. But he wouldn't have been able to run away had he been spouting blood :cwink:

Even if there was evidence, I'm pretty sure Gordon would have his closest co-workers working on the seen to destroy and valid evidence.

No one has his DNA on file. Thats why he doesnt go to hospitals.

No.. the police are lazy idiots and Gotham City PD doesnt have CSI labs theyre under funded lmao

Really? Just because his armor plates were separated doesn't mean they don't work at all. I couldn't see this being a part of the third movie

I was under the assumption that Batman only went down so Dent would turn his attention to Gordon and his family. I never thought for one second that he was injured seriously. At the very worst, he ended up with a massive bruise on his torso.
