Rolling Stones won over Aerosmith 10 to five in the previous battle. But now, is the hard hitters. I'm going to make it more complicated by making it a three way vote.

The Beatles

Pink Floyd

All three bands are absurdly powerful and influential. This battle will not be so easily won. Vote for your favorite of the three, and explain why you picked the band over the others.

This is actually a tough one as I like all of them and they did some incredible music. I am going to go with the Roling Stones for the longevity.

I'm not such a fan of The Beatles & don't think much of Floyd, aside from a couple of songs. I'm going to have to go with the Stones.

While I like some of the Rolling Stones' songs, I'm far more impressed with The Beatles' body of work, and how they were able to evolve from the 50's bubbly pop sensation to 70's more sober and reflective activist take on music. So it's The Beatles for me.

Rolling Stones even though I do like the Beatles.

love all 3 but...
pink floyd, i enjoy listening to more.

i think the beatles can transcend genre better than the other two. you can hear their songs done in a variety of styles and their lyrics still work

Oooh, a triple threat. The Stone's had the, well...stones, Floyd had the sweeping landscapes, while The Beatles had pure art.

The Fab Four for sure.

Wow.

Tough one to call. Obviously each of these bands still has a powerful influence over music today. But like Raiden said, The Beatles evolved with the times. They changed their music but their style is instantly recognizable yet clearly different in different decades.

Sometimes I have to be in a Beatles mood but I can always listen to the Stones. Their music is just a monumental contribution to the history of rock and roll and music in general.

That said, I'm gonna have to go with The Beatles. Sorry Keith, sorry Mick.

The Beatles >>>>>> Pink Floyd >>>>>>> The Rolling Stones

Pretty close between Beatles and Stones...as was to be expected.

I prefer the Floyd, can listen to the Stones, appreciate the Beatles but I'm not a fan. I think the best Stones songs are the ones you never hear that Keith Richards sings on. I've never liked Jagger.

All three are great bands...but THE BEATLES I would argue may be the greatest rock band ever. For the years they were together they pushed out dozens, if not even a hundred brilliant songs where they would try new sounds and instruments and continually challenge themselves.. They organically grew from a 1960s pop band to the most daring and innovative band of the decade that changed the face of rock music and the medium itself forever. They defined the generation in a lot of ways and their music has taken on an iconic, almost mythical status. All My Lovin to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Help to Yesterday, A Hard Day's Night to Yellow Submarine, She Loves You to All You Need is Love, Hello Goodbye to Hey Jude to Let it Be.

Simply amazing one band could reinvent itself so many times in such a short time and always achieve nothing short of brilliance.

Well-said.

The Rolling Stones but Pink Floyd is a close second. As for The Beatles, I have not heard anything from The Beatles except for Helter Skelter.

^ As in you have never listened to them or that is the only song you like?

I like all the other bands but for me The Rolling Stones own all. :)
