Bayonetta 2

On my way to pick it up now. I'll probably play through Bayonetta 2 first, then go back to the first one.

I caved and got my copy today because my store actually had it in stock! Still won't be able to play until tomorrow night or Sunday night. But come Monday it's going to be a Bayonetta MARATHON!!!!!

Played through a few hours of Bayonetta before popping in Bayonetta 2. #2 is absolutely beautiful. I love the look and feel of it. Bayonetta #1 is awesome, of course, but they really out did themselves with #2.

I love your Psyduck avvy dude. :hrt:

Just got my copy in the mail, shame they didn't opt for two separate cases, but no big. Can't wait to dig into this.

Two separate cases sure would have looked good on my shelf.

It would've looked good on all shelves, but alas. Alas.

Ok two pod cast's one in just audio the other in both video & Audio ones in full detail with bayonetta the other talks about for a short time towards the end .

Strong Actors, Good Characters, Batman vs Superman Spoiler (Not really on the latter part)

Vic and Scott talk about strong actors and characters in movies. Tom Cruise, Han Solo, Brad Pitt, and others. It's a very manly episode as we discuss how stars play actors and what characters are interesting to watch. This is a very behind the

Have you seen the Nintendo costumes? It's not fan service, it's fan catering.

I'm kind of shocked that Nintendo allowed the Peach and Daisy costumes. The skirt placement makes some shots so much more dirtier, by making them essentially upskirt shots.

Bayo 1 is fun, but the QTEs really, really piss me off.

this is aimed at a crowd 18 & up they mentioned such star entertainers like Beyounce(yeah that part may come off as silly when headed there ) & the fact that this game doesn't take it's sexuality in serious sense. perhaps what that person meant is We should look at it like how it's done in shows like "the simpson's or family guy" if people want be offended, well that's ok. You know it's not for you then. Any way interesting stuff was said by the people of GT.

Besides People are always complaining that Nintendo hasn't grown up with them or doesn't do enough mature content or games which also part of the write off process of dumping on them. which I don't think that was ever fully their(Nintendo's) intention they just had other people do those parts for them with the exception of rare with bad fur day .

it's a entertainment system that's supposed to appeal to a wide range of people of all ages they are are allowed to go in a direction they choose .

They can have games for family and they can have games for people that want mature content / games. they had redteel the the wii and befoe thet with the cube they had alot of mature rated title rainbow 6 and more it's just when people made the jump to soy during that time of the cube they also started to write Nintendo of off as kid/family friendly only some how as a reason to drop it & ever come back in their minds

They shouldn't be restricted to one area comic's had that issue for years so have alot of other medium ad there's a lot of stuff they all have bee trying to branch out as long as it's tasteful .

Well, I get what he means, and it's not necessarily a write off as Nintendo as kiddy or whatever. Sexualizing one of their own characters from their flagship, family franchise is not something you see everyday. It's not a kiddy image thing, just not something you expect to see on an official level.

yeah well when I said that "that night" I was remembering the time when I was working as a game tester and one of my boss's was shocked the game cube had some titles like metal gear rain bow six & most notably Red steel he said he was one of those that jumped to play station at the time and I notice there were element of people on the web and out side of t that said the same thing quite often. they jumped and they also thought that Nintendo was too "using the words too "kid or family friendly" aroud that time when the cube came went they just have it in their minds as a another nail in the coffin with Nintendo as to why they didn't like their games any more or said they they row up wit their audience or tried to expand much or enough to look back at them or a knock against them.

It the same way with Disney to a certain degree they have some cinema's that do more then the usual stuff aimed at children but alot of people Don't recognize this now I wasn't talking about anyone at GT or here just stuff I took notice of from work some other stuff with certain people in other forum's and places that there's a certain thing that become said or thought as the case, when it's not really the case.

Which is also why I brought up Conkers bad fur day. it a you have to remid people thing or tell people that aren't well informed enough cause they w were looki there at the time or just picked up the wrong info in verious ways.

Yes, all of that's a good point, but not what I'm saying. It's one thing to publish mature titles, which Nintendo has done since the N64 era, but it's another to sexualize your own character, especially one from a family-friendly franchise. You won't expect to see a prostitute in a sex scene dressed as Belle from Beauty and the Beast in a movie distributed by Miramax (or whatever Disney's "adult" studio is now). Not to say it has no possibility of happening, but you just don't expect it.

I didn't read what he said as marking Nintendo as kiddy as a whole, but it is...shocking, I guess, to see them officially sanction costumes with built-in upskirts of their popular family characters. Nothing wrong with it or anything, but just not something you'd expect them, or any company, to do.

I also just realized cause of the way I answered sith that it was kinda taken the wrong way (with my self or just howI just answered it ) there's nothing wrong with what he said. I guess I just didn't word it right. I was just thinking that this is just Nintendo broadening their horizons more with this, to show case they can do other stuff besides with what they are thought of. That all I meant with that.

As to the up skirts the only people that should be worrying about that are people that have under age kid's of which the label states only people of a certain age (18 & up)should playing keep it out of their hands this is aimed at a certain crowd as to the upskirt thing well that was already happening on the web with this character and many more innocent none sex linked titles of games that it's become weird to mention.

I'm just saying there's room for this system to have other genres done more often to different audience's Nintendo shouldn't be thought of as it only cater's to one type of crowd. Beside I like to see Metal gear titles on this system. they should appeal to all people & all walks of life nothing should be tarnished from it. if they stated the age of the crowd/ group it's aimed for ETC. This shouldn't be a problem.

It's kinda like why certain actor's / actress's hate being type cast. I guess that what run's in my mind when I see these things.

To a degree it might be a concern. And there are people that will find ways to turn it into one, if there's not one, well it depends. But something like that shouldn't cause them more of a problem then it should, the other console makers/ publishers.

Yeah, it isn't so much the content, which isn't too bad, imo. It's that it is with some of their family friendly characters. Does anyone seriously expect a M rated Mario or Zelda? No. This is sort of along the lines I was thinking.

Beat Bayo 1, and now onto Bayo 2.

well i've actually seen some people actually want that with Zelda. but they also want that future steam punk version as well. I can't say much on mario.

So yeah, they somehow made a game better then the first. Feels a bit shorter, but they cut all the more annoying bits from the first. Namely, no existed rocket rides. What really works here is the build of the enemies, especially once you start fighting the demons. They can be quite fierce. But where the game really shines is the boss humanoid battles. The Masked Lumen fights go right alongside the Dante/Virgil battles and some of the classic Ninja Gaiden fights in terms of quality.

Incredible amount of blatant call backs to Devil May Cry once again. Heck, arguably more here then last time. They all but say the two game worlds are connected. Just look at the demons in hell. I totally believe they'd be willing to cross the two over if Capcom would allow it, and I have no idea why Capcom wouldn't other then pure stupidity. If there was another Devil May Cry like this, its popularity could sore again. Kamiya has said he wants to make DMC 5, just let him. Besides, can any male other then Dante possibly keep up with Bayonetta? :woot:

I only have three disappointments, and two are minor. That you cannot play as Balder through the story, that the Pillow Talk isn't back and that Enzo still exist. When did he get such a potty mouth? Reminds me of how Vinny started cursing like crazy between Max Payne and Max Payne 2.

I honestly think the first Bayo is better than the DMC games. Not by a lot or anything, but I think it's a perfection of the formula outside a few flaws. I'd rather have B3 than DMC5, but due to the likelihood of the former, I'd be more than happy with the latter. I've started on the second one, but I'll hold back saying much until I get a little farther.

The original Devil May Cry, DMC 3, Ninja Gaiden Black, MGR, and the 2 Bayonetta games are the pinnacle of the genre imo. I love the first two God of Wars, and both are some of my favorite games, but they are far below when it comes to gameplay.

Bayonetta had the benefit of coming later then Devil May Cry. Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are refinements of what Kamiya started with the original Devil May Cry. Heck, chances are Bayonetta wouldn't exist if Kamiya hadn't been "let go". They'd be Devil May Cry games.

Kamiya wants to do DMC 5. He seems very passionate about it and continues to bring it up in Bayonetta. I say let him do it. I'd also love a crossover game. Heck, I'd probably prefer it.

FIFA reigns in the UK, Bayonetta 2 debuts in top ten

FIFA 15 continues to rock the UK's sales charts, marking the soccer sim's fifth consecutive week at the top. EA's marquee sports game is followed by the PlayStation version of Minecraft, which reached Vita this month and made a sizable jump from ninth to second in the sales charts last week. Third on the list is The Evil Within, Bethesda's frightful survival horror game.

Unsurprisingly, the middle of the pack includes Destiny, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. As far as new games go, the Wii U-exclusive Bayonetta 2 arrived at seventh in the UK's sales charts last week, a good spot for a single-console new release that also complements our five-star review of the game. Head past the break for the breakdown of the top-ten sellers in the UK, provided by Chart-Track.Bayonetta 2 Nintendo Costumers (6/21/14)

started playing the original Bayonetta, it's fun! Much like Hyrule Warriors I've never played this kind of game before. I'm REALLY glad I'm playing this before I play Bayonetta 2, I don't think I would've appreciated it the same way if I didn't.
