Bayonetta 2

I toyed with the idea of replaying the first game since it's been so long, but I just decided to jump into the second. I played the first one so much, and did pretty much everything there was to do. I'll still probably do a playthrough of it at some point on the Wii U.

I just saw this gif, had no idea this was in Wonderful 101:

I just bought it yesterday. Opening it tonight and losing a ton of sleep! I can't wait to finally play Bayo 1 with a good framerate (I had the PS3 version).

It plays seamlessly on the Wii U. I'm playing it before I play B2 and I'm enjoying it so much! I'm playing the whole thing on the Gamepad (no HD TV), and it looks great and plays great!

My apologizes. :csad:

How do they do the Nintendo costumes in the first game? I thought they were suppose to be unlocked as soon as you got the Super Mirror, but you have to buy them all still sans the Starfox one in the second one.

In the first game? When I started up the first game, they were all unlocked. All I had to do was go to costume select.

Ah. I was wondering. I thought it was said that all the Nintendo costumes would be unlocked from the start, but I guess that only applied to the first game.

In the second game, you need to buy the Super Mirror 64 and each individually I believe. You might also need the Super Mirror 64 2, but I am not sure.

I think there's only a Super Mirror 64-2. The other one is just called Super Mirror and comes with the Geisha outfit. But yeah, you have to buy them individually, which is why I was confused.

I'm really happy to be on Bayo 2 now. Just got Chernobog. Scythe/shotgun of destruction is fun.

Been bouncing between Bayo 1 and 2. #2 is such a vast improvement. The controls feel tighter, and I haven't been pestered by obnoxious quicktime events. That said, Bayo 1 is still a badass game. Love them both.

I can tell I'm really close to finishing Bayonetta, which is great cause I want to get to two. It's a fun game, and based on what you all are saying I can't wait to get to 2!

Started playing Bayonetta 2, so much fun! I LOVE my double sword combo. Swords are awesome!

Well, I beat Bayo 2. Now, for the grind for Pure Platinum and halos. Though I want to play as Jeanne, I'm not quite sure I'm ready to give up Witch Time.

I will say, I do love the Chernobog(Scythe)/Alruane(Whip) combo. Attack with the Scythe, hold for a shotgun blast to send the enemy up into the air, then grab with the whip to slam him into the ground. Plus, you can grab anything with the whip in Witch Time. Grabbing the Masked Lumen and slamming him into the ground is very satisfying.

That's one of the things I've always loved about these types of games: going back and rediscovering new things with weapons and items you didn't have the first time through.

I wish the expensive part had been toned down, though. I love that they choose to keep all this content on the disc, but it's like...do I really need to pay 100,000 ****ing halos for a single costume? Sheez.

I found my new favorite combo. Swords on my arms, whips on my feet. I'M UNSTOPPABLE!!!

Those were quite fun in the demo. I like the scythe/whip combo I can do on the grunts, but I also like whip/chainsaw. Bring them over and then kick them with chainsaws. Especially as I am getting the double strike of the chainsaws down.

I do need to figure out some different combos for Jeanne. Whips aren't quite as fun without the Witch Time super grab, though they are still great for clearing out a screen.

Just beat Bayonetta, it was so much fun! Not sure what to do now other than review it and give it a fantastic score. I REALLY hope people buy this so we can get Bayonetta 3!

There is plenty left to do. Go for the Pure Platinum and the Platinum Ticket.

Well, I downloaded and played the demo. I had never played the first one so I went into it as a newbie to the franchise. I have to say I found it really, really fun and I will be getting both the original and Bayonetta 2 hopefully this week. I hope to become better at the game because the quicktime events took me by surprise. You see, I'm an oldschool gamer back in an era where Quicktime events weren't even a thought. I just need to get used to this new style of game mechanics.

P.S. How about Bayonetta for the next Smash Bros. game or DLC to add onto the current one for the WiiU?
