Beast stole the movie for me.

I'm seeing this tomorrow, but this thread makes me happy that i supported Grammar as Beast since he was first announced :)

Beast for sure

Magneto is another one for me but he confused the hell out of me when he kept on mentioning Charles when he did not do anything to try & help him :o
Like when he said to Pyro after Pyro said "I would have killed him if you gave me the chance" then Magneto turns around & pretty much said "Dont you ever talk **** about Charles. He did more for Mutant Kind then any of us" Why did Magneto all of a sudden care  He yells out Charles name right before he disappears & then automatically gets Jean to join him ? Magneto was totally confusing in this Movie :o

Didn't you see him trying to get up? Jean's TK was holding him back.

Kelsey was definitely a show stealer. I loved every scene and I wanted more with every moment he was involved in.

Hands down my favorite moment is his emotional reaction to Leech.

I LOVED the look on his face as he walked toward Leech. Very beautiful and Kelseys acting was spot on, as you could imagine Hank seeing his normal hand for once and cherishing the feeling. Beast didn't have to say anything, it was all in the eyes and in the face.

I agree!! I think there were some moments during this movie that were just as touching as X1 and X2!!!

The fight scenes with him were great and he took down Magneto. Not to mention Kelsey Grammer was the perfect choice for him voice wise and even face wise.

I agree, I couldn't see anyone else in the role other than Grammer. and your right those fight scenes were awesome .

Beast and Iceman were, IMO, easily, the best of the movie.
Kelsey Grammer made an incredible job, kudos to him

But, i didn´t found the fight scenes all that great, and i´m talking about him, but the all movie.
But, he has the best move in all the fights, when, in the last fight, he first starts. He jumps, catches a lampost, twists around it and kicks someone.
That was the single best move in all the fights in the movie, and very beast-like.

Ray Mysterio Jr does a similar move. I wonder if he's an x-men fan?

I´m not the biggest fan of wrestling (but i don´t hate it either, it has it´s moments, if i´m in the mood for it, but i love the video games), but i´ve seen it....and it kicks ass
I always had a softstop for the acrobatic ones ;)

Practically every moment with Kelsey was gold. I didn't see "Frasier" there at all. I saw the actor that was born to play this role.
I sure hope he's back for X4!

beast surprised me alot.
he was one of the huge positives about x3. brilliant actor that kelsey grammer lol

beast better be bak for x4

Couldn't agree more. Kelsey Grammer's Beast was probably the best thing about the movie.

yeah he was awesome. kinda bummed that he decided to go to the united nations rather than stay at the school and help out, espcially after xavier and scott are gone and storm is just left with logan.

Everytime Beast spoke I kept expecting Niles to chime in. *shrugs*

Beast was spot on. Kelsye got him right and his action scenes were much better than I was dreading.

Grammer was great as Beast. He brought all of the sophistication and intelligence that the character embodies, as well as being able to provide the physicality of Beast in battle. I think his performance was only rivaled by McKellan's Magneto.

*tips hat to Mr. Grammer* :xmen:

I almost feel bad about laughing at him in that internet clip where he falls off the stage...almost. :p

Kelsey is a very talented actor. Don't get me wrong when I first heard he was casted I was afraid. Why? I was afraid they would turn Beast into a comedia and have him be Frasier like.

In the end Kelsey played him to perfection. Brilliant casting and as far as I'm concerned Kelsey is Beast, no one will really capture him the way Kelsey did in my opinion.

@Mister J- Kelsey fell once he saw the picture of Beast in the background. :p

I agree. Beast was by far the best character in the entire film. Granted, that's not saying much at all, but he was the lone shining star for me.

The only time I cracked a single smile during the whole running time was when Beast said "Oh my stars and garters..."

Too bad you can totally tell that he's wearing a Beast "sweater" in that scene. :p

I can tell the ladies behind me were huge fans because they literally gasped in this scene.

Kelsey made Beat amazing! His acting, his dialogue delivery was spot on. And he brought so much dignity to Beast. Just how I imagined him to be :)
I sure hope he is back for X4.

I saw it again yesterday. When Storm and Wolverine find Xavier's empty chair I almost started to cry and there was a girl sitting directly above us she cried during that scene and Storm's eulogy.

Easily the best part of the movie, it's a pity he was introduced earlier in the series.

What?

How the heck could he get up? Jean's telekinesis was going haywire, holding the water, furnitures, books, chairs, Wolverine and Juggernaut back. Magneto tried to get up, but -- look at it this way. Imagine having ten invisible people holding you down.

There are certain people who are born to play certain roles. Kelsey Grammar was born to be The Beast, Hank McCoy. If they make another film, I really hope he's in it.
