Hey guys, returned the Dr.Dre Solo's and ended up getting a pair of studio Pioneers that actually sound better then the Dre's, and they are 1/4 the price!

Since the cord was 3 m though I ended up buying some urban ears headphones on top of that for everyday use, and they sound on par with the dr dre's.

So i get two pairs of headphones that sound equal if not better, and the quality is better too, all for half the price of the Dr.Dre's.

Research is vital before a purchase of something of crazy value.

What are the best headphones to try to get the best quality out of hans zimmer music? I tried beats by dre at FYI and listened to Hans and it didn't come in that much better than my sony's. Any suggestions.

I don't know if I'm an audiophile, but I listen to music every day and I hate crappy headphones. To me, these are $25 and sound way too close to Beats to be worth the $175 extra that beats cost. Plus, the black and orange color scheme looks pretty nifty to me.

Personally, I've always liked the Sony MDR-V700 headphones; just too bad they stopped making that model.
