Beavis & Butthead Live Action Film Coming????

I just read about Goosebumps and now a live action Beavis and Butthead. I'm not too sure about either of these... and Sean William Scott...

i remember when there were rumors of David Spade playing Beavis and Adam Sandler playing Butt-Head back when they first broke into movies. i kinda actually hope this happens. Sean William Scott would be cool. he's too muscular, but he has the perfect eyes. Jon Heder as Butt-Head is way inspired casting. i don't really care for him outside of Napolean Dynamite, but i couldn't think of a better guy for Butt-Head.

Sean William Scott's best roles were as stifler and on Road Trip. I havent really cared for him since American Wedding.

Well, both of those guys look like the characters, but as a person who loved the show back in the day, I just don't like it.

Nooo, such a bad idea. Just do another cartoon movie. :csad:

I mean, if you're going to do it, at least cast characters the right age. Herder and Scott are in their 30s. Beavis and Butthead are 15. Siigh...I just keep getting flashbacks of the horribly generic parodies of the characters on Step By Step (god that show sucked, poor man's Brady Bunch).

I have faith in Mike Judge...but why can't he just do another cartoon movie? Do America was brilliant.

It says that during the 90s when this idea came to be, Johnny Depp wanted to play Beavis; good thing that didn't happen. But if Mike Judge is involved then I say go for it.

I wonder who will play: Tom Anderson, Buzzcut, McVicker, Van Driessen, Stewart and (if she's in it) Daria?

Now the show is dated and very 90's, imo. The animated movie was good enough. IDK about live action :o

Judge himself has to play Anderson. With age enhancing make up, he will look the part (though everyone is going to be asking 'Why is an older Hank Hill in the movie?').

Its ashame Chris Farley died, he would've made the perfect McVicker.

Van Driessen, I have a thought, its not practical, but if they could pull the stick out of his ass and get Sean Penn to do it, it would be hillarious to see Sean Penn in that role parodying self-important, new age hippies.

Oh man. I used to love this show back in the day, and I was thinking about B&BDA just the other day. Uh, If this does develop over time, I'd have to see a trailer or something first.

Since Judge is the one behind it, I can't really say it's a rape of my childhood. Only he could find live action people that would fit that world.

I just can't picture these two characters as live-action. Judge or no Judge.

I don't know much about the characters and show besides the basics.
If that film happened and those actors played the characters not as teenagers but as adults, it could be pretty interesting & funny, à la Clerks. :)

Yeah, me either. All I can think about are those ****ty step-by-step parodies of Beavis and Butthead. Those were bad enough. Why not just do another cartoon!?!

But seriously; a horrible idea.

Meh, Sean William Scott? I only liked him in Road Trip.

I could see Deejay Quals play a funny Beavis. He played the skinny guy from Roadtrip who's toast or toasts goe's down the fat waiter's pants. :woot:

Suddenly, Sean William Scott sounds like a great idea.

I could almost see Sean William Scott more as Van Driessen (keeping in mind his Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back cameo)

John Heder is perfect though...

I like Seann William Scott but hate John Heder but thats just cause i hate Napolean Dynamite so much.
