What is the Best Marvel Action Sequence:

Whitehouse Invasion (X2)
Mansion Invasion (X2)
Elevated Train Fight (Spidey2)
Hulk Dogs Fight (Hulk)
IronMan fighter jet encounter (IronMan)
Thor-Hulk fight (Avengers)

Opinion?

The best Marvel action sequences imo.

(Best Moment)
1. The First Avenger: Cap's Raid (Fight On Flying Bombs)
2. Thor: Thor vs. the Frost Giants (Thor's Kill Shot)
3. Avengers: New York Invasion (Puny God)
4. Iron Man 3: The Iron Legion (Clashing Punches)
5. Avengers: Thor vs. Iron Man (Asgardian Headbutt)
6. Iron Man: Iron Man vs. Iron Monger (The Icing Problem)
7. Iron Man 3: Air Force One Sequence (Unibeam)
8. X2: Nightcrawler's Whitehouse Attack (The Whole Damn Thing)
9. Avengers: Helicarrier Attack (Hammer Upside Hulk's Head)
10. Spider-Man 2: Train Fight (Side of the Train Sequence)

Yeah Spidey's train fight should be on here. That and the Action of X2 are the best.

Iron Man against the terrorists in the middle Eastern village in the first was great and Azazel dropping the Cia agents is another excellent one. Wolverine vs Shingen was brillaint too.

I'm a big fan of the underrated Hulk dogs fight but the win goes to that train fight.
Made even better in the 2.1 version of Spidey 2.

From that poll, the Nightcrawler attack. Spider-Man 2's train fight is one my favorite action sequences from MARVEL

Whitehouse invasion by Nightcrawler

I can't vote in that poll because it doesn't list any of the best action sequences from Marvel films. Of the choices given, Thor vs. Hulk is the best. But compared to many other scenes that could have been listed, even that isn't the best.

Why isn't 'The Battle of New York' on this list?

Of those listed, the train battle from SM2 wins with the Nightcrawler scene coming in a close second. TBH, I'm surprised Hulk vs Thor has any votes. I thought that was a very boring battle and the only thing it had going for it was that it was, well, Hulk vs Thor.

Of all the sequences from Avengers to choose...Thor vs. Hulk? What a random set of options.

From that (puny) list, I'd have to go with the train fight between Spidey and Doc Ock.

Spider-man vs Doc Ock on the train was pure genius.

The list should have included Hulk vs US Army in Ang Lee's Hulk.

Rescue sequence from Kick-Ass. One of the best in this genre.

I will vote Other - Blade opening nightclub scene, frickin awesome opening to a CBM.

Nightcrawler's attack is hands down the best, most creative and well executed small scale action sequence. As far as large scale and scope, the Avengers finale wins all.

The train sequence from Spider-Man 2 has yet to be beaten in terms of comic book movie action. Raimi outdid himself there. The Iron Man/Hulk skirmish in Avengers was good but there are far more deserving sequences in that film, like the Helicarrier siege, which is great.

Top Five:

1. Nightcrawlers White House Siege
2. Spider-Man vs Doc Ock on the L Train
3. Wolverine vs Stykers troops in the X-Mansion
4. Spider-Man vs Lizard in High School
5. Iron Man vs Terrorists (Iron Man 1)

Of those on the list I guess Nightcrawler scene is the best.

I loved the bullet train sequence in the Wolverine. Great sequence of putting several combatants against a rapidly moving platform intermittently meeting structures of death.

A new good one to add to the list:up:
