Flap it all!! I click on 'Hulk vs Thor' meaning to choose 'Thor vs Iron Man' and end up selecting 'Coulson vs attempted robbers'!!!

Oh well, it was a cool, unexpected little scene :)

Yes, we need more stuff like this and less of crap like in the X-Men movies where being a mutant seems to automatically mean you can jump 20 ft. in the air regardless of what the comics or pre-existing plot points in the film say a character's powers are.

Being fair, wasn't that really just X3? I don't recall any spontaneous leaping powers in X1, X2, or FC.

And....wasn't that because of Magneto raised everyone to jump?

So much fail in this thread.

The OP said the MCU, guys, lol.

Anywho...I vote for...

Hulk vs Abomination.

Such a brawler-type fight that I always wanted to see Hulk be in.
This one is my favorite, easy

Thats a yes, this only really happened in X3.

And thats a no, half of Magneto's army just decided to jump hundreds of yards for no reason during the start of the fight on Alcatraz.

As far as fight scenes go, I think Hulk vs Abom is one of the best one-on-one large-scale smack-downs of any movie tbh...

which is why, without bias, it's my favorite "fight" so far in the mcu

This. They weren't lifted by Magneto, you can tell they actually leaped...and it looked incredibly stupid.

Hard to pick just one fight.

I guess I'll go with Iron Man vs Thor like the majority of you.

Although it doesn't really count as a fight(both people should actually attack to qualify it as a fight), I would have liked to pick Hulk vs Loki.

Really?

Huh...guess there's just another reason to hate X-Men 3, haha...always thought Magneto raised them up to jump for the longest.

It did look ridiculous, like a lot of the rest of the movie really.

No they all just jumped randomly, it was another stupid thing in a very stupid movie. Its why I never got it when people said about X3 "At least the action was cool!" Not to me it wasnt, it was mostly stupid, the only good one being the scene at Jean's house.

Maggy lifting the GG bridge was cool too. It made absolutely no sense, but at least it looked cool.

Him lifting the bridge is fine. Why he didn't simply *drop* the bridge on top of the prison facility and effortlessly kill everyone he wanted to kill is the problem.

Hence my mentioning that it made no sense.

You want Mags army to complain for being gathered and doing no effort?

The funniest thing about the entire situation is that Magneto didn't even need an army. If he wanted Pyro or Juggernaut, that's fine, but he could've slammed the bridge ontop of the facility and just have Pyro and Juggernaut take care of whoever's left...and as for Phoenix...she could just stand at the right side of Magneto while he takes care of it all. Or she could be used for something else.

But there is his goal to gather all mutants to war on normal people, not introduced for this film

Since these are focused on 1-on-1 fights instead of battles (otherwise, hello Avengers' entire 3rd act), I voted on Iron Man vs. Thor. Though I really liked Black Widow vs. Hawkeye, too.

This. Thor v. Iron Man was really cool, but seeing how everyone already voted for it, kinda makes me wish I voted for Black Widow v. Hawkeye instead.

What war though? We only saw mutants vs soldiers protecting the cure. Magneto could've taken care of that by himself.

Hulk vs Abomination was good, but I expected it to be longer.

My answer is not on the list,, I have yet to see any film pass Blade 1 in terms of fighting imo

which is why I didn't put it on there :word:

Well I know.... but I give that it derived from Marvel. Blade is a weird area in all that sense i guess

No it's not. Blade is up there with Spider-Man, X-Men, Ghost Rider and Fantastic Four when it's just not part of Marvel Studios' films.
