If anything I wonder who in your opinion was the best Bond girl in the whole franchise and why? For me definitely my top 5 Bond love interests well Bond girls would have to be:

1- Vesper Lynd (Eva Green)- Casino Royale (2006)
2- Natalya Simonova (Izabella Scorupco)- Goldeneye (1995)
3- Christmas Jones (Denise Richards)- The World Is Not Enough (1999)
4- Jinx (Halle Berry)- Die Another Day (2002)
5- Pam Bouvier (Carey Lowell)- Licence To Kill (1989)

i love olga in quantum, solange in casino, and monica in spectre

1. Vesper Lynd (Eva Green)-Casino Royale (2006).
2. Teresa "Tracy" Bond (Diana Rigg)-On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969).
3. Anya Amasova/Agent XXX (Barbara Bach)-The Spy Who Loved Me (1977).
4. Natalya Simonova (Izabella Scorupco)-Goldeneye (1995).
5. Wai Lin (Michelle Yeoh)-Tomorrow Never Dies (1997).

And the "Best of the Rest," (in no real order):

-Camille Montes (Olga Kurylenko)-Quantum of Solace (2008).
-***** (I hope that I can say that name here in this context) Galore (Honor Blackman)-Goldfinger (1964).
-Holly "I'm not going to say her stupid last name" (Lois Chiles)-Moonraker (1979).
-Melina Havelock (Carole Bouquet)-For Your Eyes Only (1981).
-M (Dame Judi Dench)-Skyfall (2012).

Because she was the ****. Probably the only Bond girl 007 outright refused to have sex with (can't blame him, he'd have died. Still totally worth it? :o)

Vesper Lynd comes second, then Elektra King.
Um. It's weird though. My top three picks have all tried to kill and/or betray Bond at some point. That's got to mean something, lol.

Elektra King was always my favourite. She is one of the best villains and the best Bond girl IMO. It is hard for me to rank the others below her as there are films that I have not watched in a while. Xenia Onatopp was another one that I liked a lot and Montes was my favourite from the Craig films.

I tend to separate villains/henchwomen from the "traditional" Bond Women. Which is why Elektra, Xenia, and Fiona Volpe aren't on the list for me.

Yes. 'King' is queen of the Bond girls!

I also love Barbara Bach (TSWLM), Eva Green(CR), Izabella Scorupco(GE), and Caroline Munro (TSWLM).

I'm going to go by the definition of any female character presented in a romanticized/sexualized manner, whether friend or foe:

1. Honey Ryder/Ursula Andress (DN)

2. Solitaire/Jane Seymour (LALD)

3. Anya Amasova/Barbara Bach (TSWLM)

4. Elektra King/Sophie Marceau (TWISNE)

5. ***** Galore/Honor Blackman (GF)

Honorable mention to Eunice Gayson as Sylvia Trench, who has the distinction of A) being the first cinematic "Bond Girl", B) one of the rare ones who pursued him sexually rather than the other way around, C) I think the only one of his "conquests" who shows up in two films (practically a 20-year marriage in Bond terms) and D) one of the only Bond girls who was actually older in real life than the corresponding actor playing Bond.

Fiona Volpe. The series' original femme fatale and unbridled sex kitten. God, she's gorgeous.

1. Vesper Lynd
2. ***** Galore
3. Anya Amasova
4. Honey Ryder
5. Melina Havelock

yeah i should add her to my list. famke chewed scenery in goldeneye

1. Vesper Lynd
2. Kara Milovy (The Living Daylights)
3. Solange Dimitrios (Casino Royale)
4. Tracy Bond (On Her Majesty's Secret Service)
5. Holly Goodhead (Moonraker)

Also: Naomi (The Spy Who Loved Me), Stacey Sutton (A View to a Kill), Camille Montes (Quantum of Solace)

This is entirely theoretical, but wouldn't this have been wild:

The only one who really stands out as Bond's equal in every way would definitely have to be Halle Berry's Jinx in Die Another Day

She was a horrifically realised character. Hot as hell but such a garbage character.

Naomi (Caroline Munro) has always been the hottest Bond girl, in the entire franchise, to me. The wink she gives Bond from the helicopter during the TSWLM chase was ...:hmr:

You have Jinx and Christmas Jones in your top 5. They were horrible characters. What is your appeal to them?

Well Jinx she was the female Bond in a sense being a government agent herself she was not CIA she was NSA but also at the same time she knew how to turn on the sexy charm just like Bond but at the same time she could damn sure fight too especially for a female agent...not your typical damsel in distress as a love interest

Except that, she was. They TALK like she's this uber-competent agent, but she screws up repeatedly (like preventing Bond from apprehending Zao in Cuba with that bomb) and getting captured and needing Bond to bail her out of trouble, like three separate times (and within a pretty short span of time). Also her thing is 'I'm unlucky." It's a case of "good concept, really poor execution."

Anya from TSWLM, or Wai Lin from TND, or Camille from QOS, etc are far better examples of "badass Bond equals" than Jinx imo. Heck Melina from FYEO even.

Well then definitely Wai Lin, Michelle Yeoh she is another one who was Bond's equal in every way I put her much higher than Camille

Just remembered another one.
Miranda Frost. Probably the best thing (only good thing? lol) about Die Another Day.

And yes, she's another traitor. Man, I just can't help it, I find the bad Bond Girls so much more interesting. He's an a**, he deserves the mistreatment. :o
I'm actually having a hard time trying to remember the good ones, outside of Ryder and Galore. Especially because it's been a while since I last watched these movies. Um... how about that one with the crossbow? She was cool, I think; I mean, she had a freaking crossbow.

Kim Basinger her Bond girl in Never Say Never Again with Connery she actually was a good Bond girl as well

Wai Lin seemed like she could kick Bond's ass in a fight.

But when I think of Bond's 'equal', I think more of character than skillset. Tracy di Vicenzo or Vesper Lynd are better matches for Bond on an emotional level.

My favorite Bond girl is probably Anya Amasova, simply because she's so much fun. But Tracy and Vesper are the best written/acted ones. Those would be my top three.

Wai Lin, as previously mentioned, is another one I like.

Melina Havelock would definitely be near the top. I like her revenge story and how it ties into Bond's own quest for revenge for Tracy's death, and she's certainly quite capable in terms of the mission (she probably rescues Bond more than he does her).

Tanya Romanova, ***** Galore, and Pam Bouvier are also favorites of mine.

Biggest missed opportunity for me is Octopussy. She had an interesting backstory and concept, but in the movie itself she doesn't actually do much of anything. There was promise there based on her introduction scene, but nothing comes of it. The buildup to her was great.

No votes for Christmas Jones? ;)

Come on, who didn't think Denise Richards was 100% convincing as a nuclear physicist?

Denise Richards wouldn't even be convincing as Denise Richards.
