300 Fullscreen
300 Widescreen
300 Special Edition
300 Special Edition w/ helmet and art
300 Special Edition w/ mask

Street date is a ways off, so this could change. MSRP on the editions range from $19.99 to $49.99 in the order I have them listed. I don't have any more info unfortunately.

I want Special Edition w/ helmet and art & mask - also in HD if possible.

Wow, that looks ****ing sweet

while that is cool, i have to ask, shouldn't this be in the dvd thread?

Does the special edition come in widescreen?

The best part about this is that all versions are being released together.

One of my biggest pet peeves with the movie industry is when they simply release a half ass version at first with the entire the special features section being nothing more than a trailer. Then, because they know they can sucker us into buying the same movie twice - they release the special/collectors edition a year later.

Does the special edition come in widescreen?

99.99% chance I am sure it does. Its for the hardcore people who understand widescreen is the superior aspect ratio.

Ben, I assume that's the $34.99 version?

Its possible the $49.99 one comes with a life-sized helmet in that case! I'd love to have that version, as long as it aint cheap stuff. Otherwise, it'll be the $34.99 version for me.

Ben, I assume that's the $34.99 version?

Not sure. I got the pic from Best Buy's Canadian site. Here's the link.
They have it listed as 39.99 (Canadian). Their U.S. site doesn't have the DVD's listed yet.

I'm curious as to what the Special Edition w/ mask might look like, though.

Mike Dougherty's Trick R Treat is going to be a trailer featured on the DVD.

No life size Helmet with this DVD set, guys. Dissapointing, but predictible.

I'll be looking for the cheapest 2-disc version I can find.

Lol, who wants to buy the fullscreen version?

No life size Helmet with this DVD set, guys. Dissapointing, but predictible.
I'm guessing it'll be comparable to the size of the mask that came with one of the V For Vendetta editions. Nice for displaying, but much too small for wearing. Although, it'd be pretty ****ing cool if it was.

A helmet for wearing, PLUS DVD's, is not gonna be in the $50 range...

I'll just pick up the special edition.

Really dont need another helmet. :o

^What about a mask and art?
You need that don't cha? :cwink:
