This trailer for the 2009 Wolverine also was and is great, in retrospect unfortunately seeming quite a bit like the opposite of what the final film actually was like.

I would agree with all of that. The MOS trailer with Zimmer's "An ideal of Hope" really got me fired up. Sadly the movie's tone didn't match the trailer.

I knew B v S was going to suck from the very first teaser.

Really? The one at the end of Captain America TFA? I loved that one. Admittedly that was probably at least in part due to the novelty of seeing them all in one room at the same time.

also the Leaked IW trailer was surreal to watch I wished that can be released somewhere down the line
when u see Thanos come out the portal with no music and to hear his thunderous steps dammit loved that also they had him throwing the moon in that one

Really sucker punched us with the actual tone of the film but still a great trailer.

The teaser trailer for Spider-Man 3 was a work of beauty. I got chills the first time I saw it back in 2006. Too bad the movie did not live up to it:

I think it was more the little opening montage of her as child in this one that got me, that little smirk young Dianna gives when Hippolyta says "And that is not you Diana" loved that moment it felt very much like a comic panel brought to life.
