Best Duke voice actor?

so theres been a few animated series of Joe and with it a few different voice actors for Duke

who do u guys think have played him the best? have a listen to these clips and pick the best one

I'll go for the classic Michael Bell

I'll go with Mike Bell, he generally captured the character best. The other ones just are . . . weird.

When it comes to Duke, there is only Michael Bell.

I can't listen to Duke in Resolute without thinking of Spike from Cowboy Bebop, Blum used the same voice for both.

Michael Bell hands down, he voiced Duke with such ease that he made a 2 dimensional character come to life.

Add me to the list that liked Michael Bell the most. He's a good voice actor and I really think he perfectly captured the character as written on the 80's cartoon.

I remember when he got replaced for DIC's GIJoe and the new guy wasn't nearly as good.

Michael Bell OF COURSE!! One of my all-time favorite lines of his was in the episode called the Right Stuff where the Joes are trying to knock out a manned Cobra satellite. He yells at the Joes who are going into orbit....."Go you pearljumpers"!!! EPIC!!!

Just to correct you but I believe he says something like "Go you pyrojumpers", I'd have to see the episode again not sure.

But Michael Bell is top notch in voice acting, in the special features of the old Rhino DVD set his fellow castmates even commented that Michael would put his hands to his ears to better hear himself, cool.

Whenever I read Joe comics I always hear his voice as Duke, and let's not forget his other voices:

Prowl - Transformers
Bruce Banner - Hulk 1982
Cyclops - Pryde Of The X-Men
Zan - The Superfriends

^ hmm I still say he says "pyro" or maybe "para" and the darn DVD's don't have subtitles to them, the only way to prove what Duke says is when The Hub re-airs this episode and I can turn on my closed caption.

Yo Duke looks we're both wrong on this one, The Hub aired the episode and wathing it with closed captioned Duke says "puddle jumpers" which makes absolutely no sense at all.

Michael Bell, certainly. Also, on Transformers he didn't limit himself to Prowl. he also performed Sideswipe, Swoop, Scrapper, and Bombshell.

I like how Duke, Prowl and Sideswipe are basically his real voice with a few tweaks.
