What do you think is one of the best DVD Documentaries you've seen?

Personally I loved the Clerks 2 documentary.

Matt and Trey on Orgasmo, because they are playing a drinking game while the movie is on, and just get drunker and drunker, funny as hell

Also

Shaun of the Dead

Even though the Phantom Menace wasn't everybody's favorite movie, it had one hell of a documentary.

Spider-Man 2 - this is what I look for in a documentary

Star Wars Episode I

Damn, I really need the LOTR extended editions. They're full length documentaries? From pre-production, to filming, to post, etc?

Superman Returns. God, I love that DVD!

And Hellboy had another amazing documentary.

The Disney platinum dvd's usually have very good docs

My favourite single DVD documentary is the 2 and a half hour Empire of Dreams for the original Star Wars Trilogy.

In terms of a series of documentaries, I love the Inside <Insert Film Here> docs for the first 16 James Bond films narrated by Patrick Macnee. They are 15 hours+ of everything you ever wanted to know about James Bond, or at least everything pre-Brosnan.

-Empire Of Dreams fron Star Wars OT
-SW: Episode I Documentary
-Both Clerks & Clerks 2 Docs
-Indiana Jones trilogy
-Indiana Jones ATKOTCS: Almost makes you forget that the film isn't very good.
-Jaws 30th Anniversary
-Superman Returns
-The 6-part doc that covers the first four Batman flicks.
-The James Bond ones. Flippin' great!

resident evil... hilarious! :D

gotta listen to it if u havent

any time Rodriguez does a "making of...." he shows the nuts and bolts and his MacGuyver way of pulling certain visuals off is always interesting to watch.

2 Disc behind the scenes stories for each movie, plus the movies themselves have 4 different commentary tracks. It's almost too much.

Bruce Lee : A Warrior's Journey
This' got to be the best DVD documentary ever.

I can watch documentaries all day. Especially if its LOTR so no problem.

Damn, and I forgot Empire of Dreams. I must have watched that five times.

And about the doc on the four Batman films. Is that with the anology that was released in 05?

30 Days in Hell which basically documented the entire film process of The Devils Rejects

Lord of the Rings Extended Editions
Agreed; I have yet to see a DVD release where the extras are so in-depth. The only other release (in my opinion) that even comes close is the 14-disc "Superman" collection from 2006.

Dangerous Days: Making Blade Runner (3 1/2 hour documentary)
Empire of Dreams (the making of Star Wars)
Michael Lives: The Making of Halloween (4 1/2 hours!)
The Fear of the Flesh: The Making of the Fly
Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse (the making of Apocalypse Now)

There are some more that I really enjoy.
