Best epic movie idea?

What is your idea for a movie based off of one of marvels older epic series? Like Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, or the whole Onslaught campaign.

Not that I think a movie like this will ever be made (atleast not live action), but it would be cool to see.

Namor vs the surface world would be my top pick. I think infinity gauntlet would be a cool all CGI film series.

I hope they stay away from the Ultimate Galactus. That was just anti-climatic.

They might find some stupid thing to do to him, like making him able to "Silver-On", make him like the Sue, or some crap like that.

yeah, thats what i'm afraid of.
He needs to stay silver the whole time, unless they show his origin. they can make him wear clothes, but he will still have to make his skin silver.

Not to be argumentative, but Spider-Man was editted hella lots. In the comics, Peter and Spider-Man always had two very distinct personalities; Peter was obviously very timid and geeky, and Spider-Man was confident and loud with his jokes and all. Raimi basically removed Spider-Man's personality altogether, and just made it Peter Parker in a mask. IMO, at least.

I didn't like that. Granted, the spidey movies were awesome, but Spidey wasn't enough of a smart mouth.

You see it a little bit starting to come out in the wrestling match with Bone-Saw. Basically, Peter feels freer when he's in the mask. What I love about early spidey is that Peter's life sucks, while Spider-Man's life is great.

Great character conflict, IMO.

I don't think many stories could match the Gauntlet on screen, but I've always been a fan of the Maximum Carnage series and if they are willing to keep going in the Spiderman series for about 4 or 5 more films I think they could set it up well.

I definitely agree with you with regard to Thor. That film done right with the right director and storyline could be major epic and be one of the truly great suphero films ever.

Regarding the coming of Galactus in the the FF...

It should be epic. However, if Tim Story takes the same approach that he did with the first film then it really won't come off very epic. When I think epic, I think LOTR. I don't think Tim Story has it in him to pull it off. I wish he did, but I don't see it. Hopefully I'm wrong.
