I think the budget for this was quite low. I seem to remember around $40-50 million being mentioned?
No, Millennium has been acting VERY shady the last few years. Have we forgotten the Red Sonja incident where they tried to get Bryan Singer to direct it?Eh, TV is a different world, one where writers/showrunners are the creators and the ones who are mostly in charge and who are setting the tone. I haven't seen Happy but from everything I've heard it's the script that actually makes it good, because on a technical level it looks below average. And I'm sorry, I know the Crank movies are well liked by some people, but they're garbage as well. Him and Neveldine have made some of the worst films I've seen.
I agree about Expendables 4 but I think it's a general problem with many studios and filmmakers in Hollywood today.
Depending on how it does at the box office, it might be on streaming by Halloween.Sooner than I expected. Thought they might try and save this for Halloween time.
Just showing how good the Conjuring one looks:To be fair I think the comic book storyline was out in the early noughties. And The Crooked Man here looks accurate to the comic.
