How are you observing these things? Are you going around asking friends? People love Spider-man for the story. Why do you think people hated Spider-man 3, even though it had the most action out of all the movies? It was because they thought the story didn't have the same quality of the first two.My observations just tell me this:
-People liked Spider-Man 2 for the storytelling. People LOVED Spider-Man 2 for the action.
-People liked Batman Begins for the action. People LOVED Batman Begins for the storytelling.

It doesn't matter. Four action sequences is still pathetic. People don't even rate the final battle tops.

There was action all throughout the movie. Hell, the opening scene easily was one of the most intense, and brutally violent scenes in any comic movie to date. If your definition of action requires the hero to be fighting someone, then you're wrong.
What kind of inane logic is that?
So you are saying you have not seen the film then?
In which case your opinion is void.
Do you determine a SH flicks worth from a checklist which includes-
-Does the film have more than 4 action scenes?
and -Do fans rate the final action scene as the best one?
If the answer is no too both then the film sucks right?, good one.
Let me tell you- the film is so entertaining that you're not counting the action scenes, the whole thing is great.
I will be the final judge of whether Iron Man is great or not. Once it passes my test then Iron Man will be deemed a proper comic book superhero movie not before!

Like I said, it's not that the action wasn't good. It's just that, from what I've gathered, most people admired the film moreso for the non-action scenes.

it was, rude brutal, bloody. For a final fight it was one hell of a last fight!Oh YOU will be the final judge on Iron Man, damn we should clear out the rate and review thread and wait until you write your review because you're clearly the be all end all to comic movie reviews.![]()
Well, Iron Man had to spend a large portion of it's time, for Tony to develop and perfect the suits. Whereas the tranformers, were already fully trained with their powers. I loved Iron Man, and I'm confident that the next movie will pump up the action. Personally, I liked the scenes with the flying, and testing.I think the action scene's in this movie were a let down overall when compared to the ones in TF, which only cost $10 million more remember.
