Iron Man Best Iron Man Action Scene?

I wouldn't say it had a great story, but it wasn't horrible either. You're right, Peter didn't start being that goofy until the raindrops sequence, but that part was pretty cheesy.

Dr. Octopus basically was cut and pasted over Connors. Doc Ock never had a loving wife and he wasn't a nice guy that was taken over by his tentacles. Dr. Conners had a loving wife and he was taken over by his lizard side. Doc Ock shouldn't have been the one lecturing Peter about love, that's not who Doc Ock is. Dr. Octopus was always a self-centered jerk, and once he got his tentacles and realized how powerful he was, he only got worse.

I will agree though, that once he got his tentacles he acted very much like comic Ock, I just didn't like how they portrayed him before that, because it was completely out of character.

You're right though, mostly this all comes down to opinion, and I've never been a huge fan of SM2. I rank BB, V for Vendetta, and even X2 above SM2. I've had a problem with Raimi's portrayal of Spider-man for a while, and what it really comes down to is that I don't think he understands the character fully.

I liked how you could see Otto's arrogance before the accident. He was purposely characterized the way he was in the movie, too show a parallel to Peter. Someone else who has a great gift but has his life together, until the accident, that is. I didn't think SM2 was that great until recently, when I watched it again. Then I started to notice a lot of the elements, people were saying made it great.

Well even though Iron Man was the better movie, The Incredible Hulk's action sequence's were much better than IM's IMO, they had a vibrancy and exctiement level the IM one's just didnt have IMO.

i remember laughing at alot of jeff bridges lines when he became iron monger. "for 30 years i picked you up!" *picks up ironman, then throws him* it was just weird hearing jeff bridges spewing all these corny comic book lines.

ironman had much better action sequences then batman begins, that is a fact.


anyway, i voted for the mark 1 scenes, i just loved the mark 1 armor alot, and it looked cooler IMO.

I found the mark 2 testing scenes the most impressive. They really need to ramp up the action sequences for the sequel.

For me it's between him returning for revenge, and fighting the Iron Mongor, but I voted for the revenge scene.

Easily the revenge scene.......perfectly executed with no music in the backround.......the sound or the repulsor rays was dead on. That action sequence....thought short was one of the best in comic book movies to date.

Gotta totally agree, they were all too short and a bit too underwhelming for my taste's, though some of them had powerful moments, no doubt.
