This thread covers all Marvel Studios films from phase I
Phase II ends with the Avengers 2, that batch will probably have its own thread

That's simply too far away.

People are going to be itching to rank Iron Man 3, Thor 2, and Cap 2 long before Avengers 2.

Interchangeable. Iron Man is the model solo superhero movie. Avengers was an epic team up.

Thor/Captain America (9)
Both were great films. If you could combine the two, you'd have a film that would be 10/10 imo (Both films got slow and boring at times)

The Incredible Hulk (8.5)
Just a good film.

Iron Man 2 (8)
Meh. Bad villain, but there were some great parts to it.

For me it frequently switches between The First Avenger and Thor, with The Avengers every once in a while. Right now, it is probably The First Avenger. It gets better with time, as Evans, Atwell and Jones are just so endearing.

Iron Man 1 and 2 and The Avengers are just meh to me. For one I can't stand Tony Stark, he just annoys me to no end. There stories were eh to me while Thor and Captain America had great character stories and some real emotions and The Incredible Hulk was just a damn fun movie

Honestly surprised TIH has more votes than Cap or Thor, I thought those 2 would be much more popular.

TIH to me is a solid standalone movie. Just like the first Ironman. Cap and Thor suffer from the fact that they are lead-ins to the Avengers. I think both Movies could have been a lot better, if they didn't have to worry about getting everyone together for the inevitable team-up movie.

I personally think just as movies Thor and Cap are better than TIH, and this is coming from a Hulk fan. TIH just seemed very safe to me, and while the other two were as well to a degree, they at least took a couple of risks along the way.

I also think the only movie which suffers from Avengers lead-in was IM2 to me, Thor and Cap didnt really suffer because of that for me.
