What movies do you guys think have the best movie scores?
for me
Dark Knight
X-men
Van Helsing
Spider-man
Beautiful mind

The Fly, Legends of the Fall, Shawshank Redemption, Superman: The Movie, Empire Strikes Back, The Lion King, Edward Scissorhands, Cinema Paradiso, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, The Fountain, The Omen, Psycho... I could keep going

SM2, MIB, The Lion King, TDK, Jurassic Park

superman, indiana jones, star wars, first batman film... simple :)

Terminator 2

The best movie score is definitely 10/10

i will simplify my list by saying pretty much anything with john williams or clint mansell

The Lord of the Rings is my personal favorite. I have the complete recording for the entire trilogy, and it really is remarkable how stunning the music as a whole is.

Right now though, I'm really digging The Dark Knight's soundtrack.

Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, 2001: Space Odyssey, Iron Man, and uh, I know I am missing a very important one I like...geez...
[edit] Forgot- James Bond! One of my favorites.

star wars, robocop, indy films, Batman (elfman), harry potter, Platoon, those are all I can think of right now...

The John Williams scores mentioned are obvious and also the LOTR score, I second the Brad Fiedel score for T2 and to mention one not yet brought up, the Gladiator score by Hans Zimmer.

LOTR
Braveheart
Fifth Element
Last of the Mohicans
Last Samurai
Lot's of Trek stuff.

Batman still doesn't have a definitive theme in this franchise as far as I can tell. Except for those 2 notes that play in the commercials when the batsign comes out of the fire.

That's actually what they were going for: A two note thing that sounds like the build-up for what could be an amazing theme but never gets there. It's meant to represent how Batman isn't a "Hero" in the traditional sense.

Gladiator.
Braveheart.
Indiana Jones.

Star Wars III-VI (Empire being my favorite score ever)

Indiana Jones series (Raiders being my second favorite score ever)

Robocop

Batman '89

Superman

Terminator 2

Spider-Man 2
Indiana Jones
Star Wars
LOTR
Cast Away
Superman: The Movie

-Spider-man 2
-Spider-man 3
-Batman Returns
-Raiders of the Lost Ark
-Jaws
-Superman
-Nightmare on Elm Street
-Halloween(1978)

Jurassic Park
Terminator 2: Judgement Day
The fight scene theme from Episode 1,2 and 3 of Star Wars
Halloween
Indy movies.
