Best movie trailers

The Dark Knight (December Trailer) is still my favorite. But others have been posted here already. But TDK's trailer you just knew how great the film was going to be, it still gives me goosebumps all these years later.

T2's teaser was perfect.

As was the theatrical trailer for LOTR/FOTR and the teaser for the entire trilogy:

And I thought Episode I's trailers were okay. Though I don't like the PT, I do remember one of the best trailers for it, was the "Breathing" trailer for Episode II that was released with the DVD of Episode I. Maybe because there was no dialogue, but that trailer got me pumped and still is quite amazing.

Marvel's The Avengers Trailer 2

Man Of Steel 3, TDK 2, Revenge of the Sith

The Terminator teaser is still the best. Peter ******* Cullen doing the voice over and it just screams 80s. Perfect.

The Dark Knight teaser still gives me goosebumps.

It's funny that they changed the name back then from "Terminator" to "The Terminator", and now the reboot will just be "Terminator".

DarthSkywalker, none of your links seem to work.

These are probably the 2 best teasers I've ever seen:

People went nuts in my theater when this showed up in front of Spider-man 1.

The Star Trek films always had good trailers, but I LOVED their teaser trailers

Undiscovered Country

[YT]TkZFWr0vR8Q[/YT]
2009

those 2 are my favorites gotta love that they are the rare ones that show NO footage from the film at all but yet get you interested in the film.

The Muppets

[YT]Oo0MIS4-EXQ[/YT]

Omg Lois Lane is in it

A Clockwork Orange

Shining eerie trailer with the blood coming from the elevator is also amazing.

Trailers should avoid as much as possible story structure.

Star Trek Into Darkness Official Trailer #3

IMHO, probably the best theatrical trailer in movie history was for the original Matrix. It showed you enough cool scenes from the film to wet your appetite for the movie without giving away any of the plot. And it has Morpheus's iconic line, "Nobody can tell you what The Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself."

These are some of my favourites:

I have more but this is basically my top 3. :oldrazz:

One of the best teaser trailers I've ever seen. Still gives me chills.

Pffffft so many.

The Dark Knight has to be the top though. Even with the hype before it I don't think anyone was expecting it to look THAT good.

Watchmen's was also incredible.

I also have to agree with Transformers 3 and Terminator Salvation both crappy movies with amazing trailers.

The Social Network's (the one with creep) completely blew me away

I think for sheer crazy hype generated, few come close to the Cloverfield trailer. It was just mouth-open amazing, especially if you saw it in the theatre. The fervent fan following and speculation was like a mini-religion.

I'm going to mention a few obvious ones: The Spider-man 2 teaser and main trailers and the Spider-man 3 teaser trailer.
I can remember watching both Spider-man 2 trailers over and over again, even after the film came out. The music, the action...it was all so amazing!
And the Spider-man 3 teaser trailer? I remember it debuting on Attack of the Show and I swear to the heavens I couldn't stop grinning for hours. If there was ever a truly epic trailer, that was it.

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty - Trailer #1

[YT]kGWO2w0H2V8[/YT]

I obsessively watched the trailers for The Dark Knight Rises and Avatar, though the Avatar teaser was more intriguing, because it just looked like this visually stunning movie and you didn't know much about it yet.

The Elysium trailers are pretty good.

Unfortunately, the trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine made the movie look far more epic than it really was.

And yes, that Walter Mitty trailer is amazing. The song makes it.
