My order for the Nolan movies

1. The Dark Knight
2. The Prestige
3. Memento
4. The Dark Knight Rises
5. Batman Begins
6. Inception

haven't seen insomnia.

I love his whole filmography, but the three that really stand out to me are Memento, The Dark Knight and Inception. Each is exceptional in its ownspecial ways. Sunday through Friday, depending on my moody, I could name any of them. And on Saturday, I'd say Begins. :D

The man is definitely one of my 3 favorite of the newer generation of directors. In my top 10 overall. He is only getting better imo.

Or "Following".

On Inception. It feels like the perfect marriage between TDK and Memento. The big summer love story.

I'm a big fan of Nolan's Bat trilogy, but to me, Inception is his absolute masterpiece.

Top three would be:

The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight Rises
Inception

Can we get an Inception sequel please.

I would have to watch a good number of these again to get a better idea but as of now...

Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
Memento
Inception
Prestige
Insomnia

The Dark Knight Rises

I pretty much love all of them but if I rank them it would probably be in this order:

The Dark Knight
Memento
Inception
Batman Begins
The Prestige
The Following
The Dark Knight Rises

I've never seen Insomnia.

One of my absolute favorite directors.

1. Memento
2. The Dark Knight
3. The Prestige
4. The Dark Knight Rises
5. Batman Begins
6. Inception
7. Following
8. Insomnia

I don't dislike a single one of them. Not that many directors I can say that about.

Easily The Prestige for me.

I'd say -

1. The Dark Knight Trilogy (it is just one story to me)
2. Memento
3. Inception
4. The Prestige
5. Insomnia
6. Following

Individually though -

1. Memento
2. Batman Begins
3. The Dark Knight
4. Inception
5. The Prestige
6. The Dark Knight Rises
7. Insomnia
8. Following

However up to Following they are all so close together they could easily change depending on the day. Insomnia is much better on rewatches and is actually a very good detective film. TDKR is by far the weakest of the TDK trilogy but still an extremely entertaining film and better than the majority of 2012.

I also think Nolan is quite underrated. You may be thinking "what?" but no one I know has even heard of him (yet they all know of Speilberg, Eastwood, Scorcese even Danny Boyle etc etc..) and he also never appears in Sky Movies or Film4's 'director seasons'.

Have you really not seen Begins?

Easily The Prestige for me.

Prestige and TDK are really close for me but The Joker gives TDK the edge.

Really don't get the love for Inception and I've tried with multiple viewings of that movie.

Inception and MoS kinda of prove he is well known.

1. The Dark Knight Rises
2. Batman Begins
3. The Dark Knight
4. The Prestige
5. Inception

Those are all of his films that I've seen.

Inception is a perfect bit of science-fiction. It works on a story, action and emotional level. It takes a basic story idea, this case a heist film, and puts a smart sci-fi twist on it. More importantly, at the heart of the film are human beings.

1. The Dark Knight Rises
2. Batman Begins
3. The Dark Knight
4. The Prestige

You haven't seen Memento and Insomnia?... DUDE!

My list is as follows...

1. The Prestige
2. Memento
3. The Dark Knight
4. Inception
5. Batman Begins

Man choosing a Nolan film is hard for me, because I love them all. Even the flawed TDKR is better then most stuff out there today. I always go back and forth between my top 3 but I will say:

1. The Dark Knight
2. The Prestige
3. Memento
4. Inception
5. Batman Begins
6. Insomnia
7. The Dark Knight Rises
