Best Nolan movie?
Or "Following".My order for the Nolan movies
1. The Dark Knight
2. The Prestige
3. Memento
4. The Dark Knight Rises
5. Batman Begins
6. Inception
haven't seen insomnia.
Oh, Zod I hope not.Top three would be:
The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight Rises
Inception
Can we get an Inception sequel please.
He still has plenty of career left.I'm a big fan of Nolan's Bat trilogy, but to me, Inception is his absolute masterpiece.
I've never seen Insomnia.
Robin Williams and Al Pacino ..... what could go wrong?
Have you really not seen Begins? One of my absolute favorite directors.
1. Memento
2. The Dark Knight
3. The Prestige
4. The Dark Knight Rises
5. Inception
6. Following
7. Insomnia
I don't dislike a single one of them. Not that many directors I can say that about.
Easily The Prestige for me.
Inception and MoS kinda of prove he is well known.I'd say -
1. The Dark Knight Trilogy (it is just one story to me)
2. Memento
3. Inception
4. The Prestige
5. Insomnia
6. Following
Individually though -
1. Memento
2. Batman Begins
3. The Dark Knight
4. Inception
5. The Prestige
6. The Dark Knight Rises
7. Insomnia
8. Following
However up to Following they are all so close together they could easily change depending on the day. Insomnia is much better on rewatches and is actually a very good detective film. TDKR is by far the weakest of the TDK trilogy but still an extremely entertaining film and better than the majority of 2012.
I also think Nolan is quite underrated. You may be thinking "what?" but no one I know has even heard of him (yet they all know of Speilberg, Eastwood, Scorcese even Danny Boyle etc etc..) and he also never appears in Sky Movies or Film4's 'director seasons'.
Inception is a perfect bit of science-fiction. It works on a story, action and emotional level. It takes a basic story idea, this case a heist film, and puts a smart sci-fi twist on it. More importantly, at the heart of the film are human beings.Prestige and TDK are really close for me but The Joker gives TDK the edge.
Really don't get the love for Inception and I've tried with multiple viewings of that movie.
1. The Dark Knight Rises
2. Batman Begins
3. The Dark Knight
4. The Prestige
5. Inception
Those are all of his films that I've seen.
