Best X-Jet Sequence!?!

I LOVE the take-off scene from the first film. I loved how the music built up with the scene of the basketball court opening and the ball rolling until it fell in the hangar. But I prefer the redesigned jet of the second and third films. Still sticks in my craw that they never refer to it as the Blackbird?!?! I know, it's a petty fanboy rant, but I deserve at least one a year, right?

Well X2 was the best Xjet sequence. Only because they were being chased in a dog fight sequence. the other 2 movies the X-jet just got them where they needed to go lol

well just sitting down and pretending ur eyes are turning white and standing in one spot making it freeze is hardly raising a sweat lol. actual flight and combat is doing something. anyone can turn their eyes white...just roll em up in the back of ur head

I'd have to go with X2...Though its neck in neck with X3. The X2 jet scene got more screen time, but in X3 it had some great maneuvers. I liked the flyby over the mountains in X3, where it shows a pretty sweet view of the horrizon through the cockpit. It also seemes like the X-jet in X3 had more seats than in X2...That might be an oversight on Bret Ratner's part. Also...the jet seemed faster in X2. But X2 is still gettin all the love overall.
Also...wasn't Cyclops the piolot in the 1st film? Why did he so easily give up the throttle so that Mrs. Storm could get more screen time?

Wouldn't it be cool if the jet could fly underwater?

WTF? In X2 Cyke was being brainwashed and in X3 he was dead, there's no way he could've pilot the Jet. And after he got rescued in X2.. well I dunno... maybe Storm got to the pilot's seat first?

or maybe its just as simple as, well we are both in command of the team, we can take turns flying the jet. cyc wasnt in the dog fight sequence, then after he was rescued he just sat in the other seat, then had to deal with jean leaving the plan. i dont think actually flying that big thing was a major concern

i thought the cloaking scene was really well done and seemless in the x1 but kinda shotty in the new one...

Right on...it would also make landing a sinch. Also...Cyclops isn't really dead, so he's gonna take the captain's seat back from storm in X4. And maybe the jet will have to fly underwater in X4 to rescue any X-men underwater who are fleeing from the brotherhood. lol

I have to say the best X-Jet sequence hands down? Has to be the Jet Fighter vs X-Jet chase through a bunch of tornados thanks to Storm. On top of that when a hole on the jet opened up sucking out Rogue and then Nightcrawler teleporting and rescuing her.

This also makes me wonder why they need the X-Jet, Most of the X-Men can fly by themselfs, The cartoons had the X-Jet, but mostly to get around to certain places. Yet many of the characters are seen flying around, Heh.

Well, it's not like they use the jet to fly around the block. In the films, they always used the jet to cover a large distance, Alkali Lake, San Francisco, etc.
